V8 Vantage Front Splitter
Discussion
Sorry all, just seen the replies (wasn't alerted)
I've got an initial bunch of 4 coming in, as I look to get UK produced. 2 carbon (ones mine and ones already spoken for).
2 of the same style will be in FRP also spoken for (1 sold to a UK driver and the other to an Austrian PHer)... I will be having the FRP version moulded ready to be reproduced in GRP in the UK before finished in satin matte black to be sent to Austria.
Cost wise I'm planning to add value to the whole whereby I will have them either hydro dipped or colour coded to spec of buyer ready to collect for about £365 to import the Carbon on small orders its £600 a splitter. Trying to get them to do bulk closer to £500
Batches of 6 currently are the easiest to ship at the moment as costs are horrendous. Get me a group of that many and I could perhaps fast track those that are desparate.
Do watch this space as my initial bits have just began production so I'll update more along the way. feel free to ping an email.
PS If anyone knows of any N400 side sills going let me know

Can someone tell me when the V8V got a front splitter? I think one would look good on my 2007 car and was wondering if one from later car would fit without resorting to changing the front bumper. Thanks, David.
Have a search on here for PYA Carbon, they manufacture the front splitter and other parts. I did a group buy on here years ago.OK as you can see splitters are now here. Genuine carbon on my car (with custom pinstripe). I used the Carbon to create moulding and now GRP versions are being produced... They will be supplied in paint finish/carbon dipped to spec.
Send me a private message to know more.
Also the 'V400+" produced in domed vinyl and available as a mark to all those that have tuned their cars with an aftermarket specialist. The chosen red colour signifies the car is at 400bhp but could be more hence the name V400+ (You may be asked to prove it, identical badges come across each other on the road... or track lol)
Happy tweaking and driving.

Rekindling this old thread - anyone know if any of the front splitter options discussed here are still available? Or whether there are similar options they'd recommend?
I'm looking for something a bit more pronounced than the stock item for a 2010 V8V.
Cheers
Incognegro (Alistair) is still making these, I bought one a few years ago, it's held up well. I went for his GRP with carbon dip option due to getting on/off my drive can be tricky and have from time to time scrapped it underneath ... despite this it has held up well. I think had I gone for a full carbon version from other sellers I would be a little miffed at it being scrapped and not sure it would hold up too well plus they are way more expensive. Mine while looking OK would cause too much of an issue if it was sacrificed. I'm looking for something a bit more pronounced than the stock item for a 2010 V8V.

I know Alistair is selling his Vantage now (on eBay) as he is looking to move on to other marques. If you want his details send me a PM and I will give you his number.

Have never PM'd on here - is that the "email" option, or is there actually in-built messaging here somewhere I haven't found?

I should have also asked, do these just attach using all existing fixings, or is there any drilling or bonding required??
Yes, they use the same fixing as the basic little plastic splitter ... you will need to have the car on a ramp for best access as some measurement is required to drill the holes in the right location on the new splitter.Re PM, yes use the email. I did look to try emailing you but it said the you cannot receive emails
