Whats the opinion on the hi-fi?

Ok, for what its worth, here's my spec.

Titanium outdoors, Obsidian indoors with silver thread, alloy dash, tailors alcantara. (the original 007)

19" wheels, satnav, xenons etc etc but that's not really important - what is important is how utterly drop dead gorgeous the car is in the flesh. Much curvier and more sculpted than the pictures show.

And how cool are those front sidelights? I'm gonna have mine on permanently.

Is that what they are? I thought they were the indicators (I take you mean the strip of lights running up the inside of the headlights?).

In that case, coo-el!

Blimey, it appears I'm the only person on PH not to have ordered one! How many are they producing?

yep - just to clear up that point of confusion, the very very cool little curve of reflectors down the inside edge of the headlamp pods are sidelights and indicators AND machine guns

I'm in the process of speccing my V8 at the moment. The only available brochure from AM is not too helpful in this regard. Not even the colours are shown. For this reason could someone please post a colour key to the colour chart photo in the first post of this thread. My personal favourite for the V8 is the 6th from the left in the second row. The interior either dark grey or black.

Thanks in advance.

I think spec'ing one's Aston is meant to be experienced in the show-room, they have all the colours and a cabinet full of leather samples, carpet samples etc. It's not something to be done on the basis of a glossy brochure or worse still based on a picture on the 'net! Rich...

quite agree, although when I was up there it was difficult visualising what some of the options and colour schemes would look like on the car itself. The lime stitching was relatively easy to reject though!
The tour around the production line helped with colours up to a point.

The colours in the first post in this thread of course don't look anything like the 'real' ones do in daylight etc.

Perhaps one of the 'design your own car' type bits of software would help (don't Vauxhall (sorry) and others do this now?)
