V12V time to sell?

The engineering behind the V20 is incredible. The rear mounted V8 means that the transaxle is omitted completely. For even weight distribution the volante mohair hood is tucked under the driver and passenger seats in a very nice velour bag.
Now I wish someone with designing skills could actually come up with a concept! Bincenzo said:
Maybe I’m looking in the wrong places, but I can’t see any of the 101 V12 Vantage Roadster 6 speed manuals on the market, there were 3 on a few months ago. Did anyone here buy or know of any prices paid? Interesting to know what the market is like now the dealerships have reopened.
I think Aston Martin Works has two advertised during Covid. Might be worth giving them a call...if nothing else if they have sold that’s good info. Hi Bincenzo
Wow. It must be the sunny weather! I think you’re right, it looks like they may have all gone. If I remember rightly, there was a silver one at McGurks (rather like yours actually) and two at AM Works (a blue car and a red one). I’m sure someone posted a couple of pictures of the blue car in one of the Facebook groups a few weeks ago. I remember it, as it had a rather lovely cream interior, and I did make a comment, as it had dropped off the AM Timeless page the day before the guy posted it. With all the user names on here though, I’m not sure if it was a usual visitor to the PH forum (I think perhaps not). I’ll stop rambling on now, as none of that has really answered your question, sorry! But it is good news if they have all been snapped up. I probably know the answer, but is it poor etiquette to ask the selling dealers? I guess they can only refuse to answer.
Best Regards

I dug mine out of storage last week after having been sitting there for a full year. Prior to this I’d been ha OMG thoughts about selling it. Terrible I know, but true.
Anyway, since then I’ve been hooning around in it and seriously, what a car. I have fallen in love once more.
It’s not a case of Being blinkered as I do have a good mix of cars but I can’t see anything I’d rather be driving for the money.

Yes they went a week or so ago .
Chieb that V12V on CC is looking outstanding value at the moment.
Didn’t get involved ! For me to buy a car like this through an auction it would have to be cheap to justify the extra risk. Went for close to £120k when previously advertised for £140k. Fair value I think. CC are doing a good job of getting decent prices for sellers. Chieb that V12V on CC is looking outstanding value at the moment.
Not sure if it's just seasonal or whether some people are starting to realise the V12V / S probably really are the last of the line and snapping them up, but either way they're getting rarer (at the moment) and Roadsters even more so, although I guess statistically they're rarer than the tin tops anyway.
The Marianna Blue and Cream Truffle car at Works was lovely, and if I didn't already have the S Manual Roadster I would 100% have snapped it straight up. I actually tried to buy that very car in December 2017 from HWM, at the time it was up for £130k and they wouldn't shift. At the time what they were offering for my V12V for a trade in was frankly a royal piss take so I passed......and glad I did, as the buyer would have taken a 30-40k bath in two years on it. Works had it up for £95k, so guess they bought it in for mid 80's.......ouch. I think whoever bought it from Works has got a cracking car which probably won't loose any money, and will actually increase in the future (all personal opinion).
The Red Roadster that Works had was nice enough, but had some pretty dodgy personal stitching on the seats, which would have just put me off full stop.

I think contrary to people’s expectations (including mine) market is holding up very well and cars are clearly selling well...though I think some of the sales dealers are making are quite a way below advertised prices (don’t know about Aston but I know of a couple of Porsche GT cars that sold for big discounts). As I posted in another thread I think the autumn will be a testing time...market is seasonally weak anyway, people will be concerned about a winter second wave of Covid (I think we’ll be fine until then) and the Furlough scheme will be running off so I think we’ll see a spike in unemployment. And we’ll also have the spectre of a no deal Brexit.

I had a quick look, simply wondered who was selling.Saw the through drivers door photo. Is the seat worn? Edge of instrument cowling appears to have a dent.
Interior perfection usually indicates careful owners, in my book.
It look as though all those cars are all in Japan, the forwarder is in Singapore, so they probably buy in Japan and just ship your order straight through to you, if you want to buy it.
Its a Japanese website as in (.jp)
Edited to say, it also has the pre 2015 ski slope yet its a 2016 reg car.
