Looks a clean car that.
Fetched good money for a car with the fat seats.
Hmm, seats make no difference to the price of these, its just choice if you want the LWS look for a car with them.Fetched good money for a car with the fat seats.
They seemed to be optioned more on the earlier cars but don't forget with the standard seats you can also have heating and they have more adjustment.
As for the auctioned car , i agree it was a good deal.

Agree 100%. There's zero price difference between a car with or without LW's, and there never will be, it's purely down to choice. As dealers are always very quick to point out come trade-in time, the value of options added at build have very little relevance to the trade-in value. Mine has a £4k paint option, nobody is going to give me £1 more than a car that had a "free" paint choice.cayman-black said:

I had an N420R with LW's & loved it...
I now have a V12VSR with fat seats & definitely prefer the look of the LW's but now wouldn't be without the seat heating! Yep, I'm that ridiculous
I went in the opposite direction, my V8 Vantage had heated sports seats, whilst my V12 S has the lightweights. I don’t miss the heated seats at all, which is curious because my daily, an Audi A6, has had the heated seats and heated steering wheel on permanently since November.I now have a V12VSR with fat seats & definitely prefer the look of the LW's but now wouldn't be without the seat heating! Maybe it’s because I have alcantara inserts on my seats but most likely It’s because I don’t drive the Aston when it’s cold.
My DB9 had the "Fat" seats and my V12VSM has the "thin" seats. I prefer the thin and don't miss the heater elements.
I also drove the V12VSM to Zurich and back twice now and have zero pain each day getting out of the car. I cannot say the same for my RS3, RS6 or now Tesla Model S. Love these seats and would only have them.
But I guess we are all different shapes and sizes!

Oh I wouldn't miss heated seats in a coupe but I do like taking the roadster out on cold sunny days with my ar5e nice n toasty Maybe it’s because I have alcantara inserts on my seats but most likely It’s because I don’t drive the Aston when it’s cold.
I do agree though that LW's look way better especially with alcantara

Wash your mouth out. We’ve discussed this before. It might be the case for other colours, but not for the mighty ceramic grey Promise a picture will follow once this snow has gone

Bit wet in this pic but an amazing car, upgraded from a Rapide S to the AMR, as said in previous post ceramic grey a non standard colour on the AMR and I am guessing the only one. Neil

I was not aware of any non-std colour ones so thats good to hear! And yes, very likely the only one in Ceramic Grey, certainly the first AMR I've seen mentioned anywhere not in one of the 4 optional colours.
Well done!

Ohhh Congrats, and welcome to the AMR Rapide owners club! One of just 47 cars in the UK it seems.

Thanks, yes this is the only one in a non standard colour I have come across. Went for it because I did not want the body stripes and this fitted the bill, seems from comments here I made a good decision and the more I look at it the more I like it.I was not aware of any non-std colour ones so thats good to hear!
