I think it was fate telling me not to sell, however I have cancelled the sale of mine. BR continue to investigate the misfire.
The Mrs wasn’t happy at me selling it either, not often a car sale elicits a response from her!
Yes the car was telling you not to sell !!The Mrs wasn’t happy at me selling it either, not often a car sale elicits a response from her!
I have the same trouble with an e46 m3 - I am having to spend money to get bits sorted ready to sell that I might as well keep it ....

Leverage the mortgage!
I bought my v12v for £65.3k in Feb 2020 and the HWM is pretty much the same owners, miles (unsure if that one carbon seats) at £73k a year later.
I think it was fate telling me not to sell, however I have cancelled the sale of mine. BR continue to investigate the misfire. I will revisit next year when hopefully we have moved to a house with a bigger garage, as finding a replacement car was limiting me to something 4.6 m in length!

Good news that you are keeping it corner. Keep us informed of what the problem is, please.I bought my v12v for £65.3k in Feb 2020 and the HWM is pretty much the same owners, miles (unsure if that one carbon seats) at £73k a year later.

The only thing I did differently, and for the first time, was start using fuel cutoff procedure holding down the accelerator and clutch. BR advise issue can be felt/heard up to 2k but not flagging on AMDS.
Typical..

The price spread on mileage differences is quite large. Year seems to make little difference
Going just on Autotrader the spread is £63k at 38k miles up to £87k at 4.5k miles. The orange car is still a little niche for most tastes at £90k and 24k miles. Does lightweight seats or B&O add any value or even make the car more desirable anymore?kev1966900 said:

Does lightweight seats or B&O add any value or even make the car more desirable anymore? As for lightweight seats or B&O I don’t know how they influence prices. The lightweight seats were a must have for me as I think they suit the aggressive nature of the car. The B&O I didn’t worry about at all. All the reports from owners before I bought mine said that the premium stereo was excellent and the music system in a V12 Vantage is hardly a core consideration. Some owners even claim never to turn their’s on.
I love the lightweights and having had two other Aston’s without them they are my preference.
I don’t have the B&O in this car but had it in the Rapide S. I think it’s better but since I had the secondary cats removed it would be a waste of amplifiers and speakers to have it in this!

Bought my 11 plate car on 22k last March for just shy of £60k from slades - feel like I got a really good deal. Not that i bought it thinking about the money, one of the best cars I've ever bought
I think that was a great deal. Keep it 3 years and if you sell you will likely not lose a penny.Gassing Station | Aston Martin | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
