Magnificent Dewi.
Was that all done with one take ?

Expect you will be booked for AML publicity now. smile
Thank goodness you allow us to look at the cars, instead of AML's insistence on millisecond cuts, throughout their (so called) films.
I just switch off.

You must all have enjoyed the trip.

Thanks mate - yes it was one take - take 1! These boys haven't got time to hang about! I'd have LOVED a tighter take 2 to cut in - but the budget was too tight winklaugh Next time - you coming?!

Lovely! I park mine nose first and much as I like the rear it’s just not as good as the front!

Tough decision tbh. Rear is pretty damn awesome too.

Washed and polished the cars and then went for a drive.

.....then it rained.

Good old BBC weather forecast. Accurate as ever. frown

Nice weather all weekend, and I finally got around to cleaning hideous & ghastly on Monday (last time I drove it was during those rainy weekends in Mid-May).

Having a few friends in the detailing industry, I find the professional side of car care and cleaning quite interesting, so after some research and asking around, purchased a few bits to make life easier. I'm not brave enough to attack the DB11 with a machine polisher yet, but just a hand polish after a proper decontamination and wash, dealt with most of the swirls and scratches.

For the first time in 13 years I took a rotary polisher to it.

Best it’s ever looked

Very nice! I’d love to own one of those at some point.

Went to pick up a load of stuff so, instead of taking something practical, figured it’d be a good excuse to take my Vanquish out for a run up to the hills. Saw a very tidy looking V12V (white) parked up along the way. First one I’ve seen out for a while so nice to see one in the wild.

Parked next to the AM Press demo Vantage at Caffeine & Machine. Guy Martin was there too, filming something about a Beetle he’s converted to electric power.

Beautiful! One of these days you should post pictures of your full collection, I bet there are very interesting things in there. smile

That's simply lovely. I've always admired the slightly brutish look of the V8. I'll bet it was a heart-in-mouth moment as the rotary started to remove imperfections

Thanks chaps
The collection is eclectic to say the least, some strange ones for sure BUT this Aston is my childhood dream come true, it’s THE car.
