NO ONE has ever said that before - see Twitter - its tribal war usually!!!
It was a quote in an article, as I recall, and i did wonder wonder whether those groups were complimentary, as I read it, and again as I wrote it. I'm not on much social media, so I plead ignorance!

Best way mate - its awful and all about tribes of haters in echo chambers battling it out in futility E.g: https://twitter.com/Kath1109/status/14026540689511... - and I speak as a very regular cyclist.I've owned the car for 21 months now and Covid has prevented me using it. So after refurbishing during winter had a 3 day break. Yorkshire to Edinburgh, a trip over to Glasgow and some running about before coming back. Total of 614 miles and everything working averaging 24.3mpg so not bad at all.
Just spent ages getting baked-on dead flies from the front bumper. Now all ready for 1st car show this year at Ripon racecourse.

Busy day!
I collected my car from AM Milano from the yearly service:
And since my right side LED failed some time ago, I managed to get a pair of basically new V12 headlights (with black bezels) from Germany at a great price, 850 € shipped.
They installed them, love the result. Fits well with my Quantum Silver and N420 carbon bits:
Then I was invited on the top floor where the DB5 Continuation Goldfinger was on tour:
The car is a big toy, will all the gadgets from the movie. I could not stop smiling. It is also the most closely thing you can get to living in 1965 and showing up to a dealer to order it new, the non-gadget details are incredible too.
They also had Bond's champagne of choice of course

Then with MisterBlu who joined me at AM, we moved to downtown Milano where the MIMO Expo was happening, buckle up:
AM was there too with a DBX. There were also other more pedestrian brands all over town. The cool thing, apart from the obvious fact that seeing four Bugattis (and two of them have yet to be officially launched, the Bolide and the Longtail/Super Sport) in the same place is weird by itself, is the frame. Having those cars next the the Duomo cathedral was mesmerising. Sorry for some pictures not really up to standards, but it was packed.
Sunday I will join again MisterBlu on the Monza track (he basically lives on it ) for the rest of the expo.

I don’t like all of the brake dust that the oem brake pads make so I changed them. I have used Porterfield R4S pads on my previous Aston and was very pleased with them so I decided to use them again. While I had the wheels off I did a good clean of everything I could see and cleaned and waxed the wheels. At the same Tim e I installed the rock shields or mud flaps. I have had them on both of me previous Vantages.

Great Milano pics!Did you find brake pedal feel was the same with R4S pads? Not a bit hard?
Just dropped it off for a service and MOT. It's well overdue both according to time because of you know what, but it's only travelled about 3k miles so I'm not too concerned. I did ask them to add on a brake fluid change as a precaution due to the long period of it just sitting about.
It was nice to be back in it. It's been SORNed for too long.

Yes, mine is now overdue in time. I had planned on a trip to the UK to visit one of the independents, but it's looking evermore increasingly likely that I will service the car either in Stuttgart or Zurich. It was nice to be back in it. It's been SORNed for too long.
Great photos EVR. I'd fancy a pair of those headlights too tbh!
Good photos from everyone actually. I'll take more soon and do my part
