Still no cafe?
No but there’s a decent one on the Brampton road a mile or two outside Alston which has plenty of parking.

Only £600 !

Your privacy remains safe. I don't think I will be seeing your boat on the eSysman YouTube channel then! - smile

How did the people get those huge motor yachts? I thought everyone was supposed to be equal under that political system.
Is every citizen in that country a multi billionaire ?
Sir Kier Starmer (I understand only a millionaire) is very keen on the poor being given far more money, to make everyone equal.
Have never quite understood how it works. Give two people £1,000, then say at the end of the year, one has £1,500 and the other has nothing. How do you make them equal again, to start the next year? confused

Presume you had some fun though to get through that much fuel, that quickly ?

Too hot for convertible driving today, but this evening a roofless jaunt down some A-roads then a blast on the M1 were just the ticket to cool down a couple of notches. Then a visit to a familiar haunt.

Dropped her off for service and new clutch

Be interesting to see the cost , my first experience of such matters as an 9 week owner!

Got this little baby repaired today.
National windscreens did a great job with the repair barely visible now and only £70 too so no insurers involved or anything.
Happy days

…but whilst the bonnet was up I finally got so annoyed with the rusty torx bolts that hold the engine cover in place that I cleaned them up and sprayed them. What is it with Astons and rusty bolts?!?

Snow foamed down, but a full wheel clean, not that bad minus the wheels which had quite a bit of brake dust. Blow dried the water off, but was not overly concerned, as I actually bothered to replace my DI resin in the vessel, so no more water spots. Tyres got dressed.

Carpet cleaned the mats, carpets and boot with my new vax spot cleaner which went well. More dirt came out than expected. Finished off with leather all cleaned, interior glass cleaned.

Still need to complete the light remaining swirls when I can be bothered and the odd hologram I have noticed.

Buttt, with the temperature after all of the above put it away smile . Living where we do, the M20 is a car park and every other route around here is littered with traffic avoiding the M20.

No pics!

I’d did the same after the NE run mentioned above - don’t like putting the car away dirty so always try and give it a clean.

I will do next time! Hahaha!

I was excited as well to use my new leather cleaner of castile liquid soap and water which brought the leather to life a little more than previously and is very very mild.

Snow foam and carbon brakes ? I'd love to get clarity on whether that's ok - so many people seem to do it , others say never .
Who knows ?

Not had any issues re the brakes - I only use decent stuff, not acid wheel cleaners. What you heard / read? Any links?

How are you supposed to clean your car, wheels, etc if the discs are so sensitive to products?

Peter I think you're OK with a decent snow foam & I use them.myself.
The only no no ive read / heard about are the acid based alloy cleaners. The cheap wheel cleaners you might pick up in a supermarket and the cheap hand car wash guys that spring up in old garage forecourts. This is nearly always because the cleaning agents used are often too strong and have higher acidic values which ruin the chemical balance between disc and pad.
If you watch the detailer YouTube videos they all use snowfoams as part of the deep clean process and probably half the cars they work on will have ceramics.
I'm sure it's not an issue with proper branded products a bit like washing your car with a squirt of fairy liquid in a bucket of water....you just wouldn't...but car shampoo is fine
