Great day yesterday - lovely drive with 20 other Astons to Middlewick House, home of Nick Mason of Pink Floyd.
A small selection of his amazing car collection on show - good to see 3 1934 Aston race cars in pride of place outside the front of the house.

What a lovely occasion.
How very kind of Mr. Mason, to invite special friends to his home.

Think my invitation must have gone astray in the post !

Given my previous post and the filthy state of my car I thought a good going over was needed.

However these bolts in the handbrake caliper need replacing as they are letting the side down.
I might gave to pop down to the dealers and see what part no I need

I fitted titanium bolts to mine. From probolt.

Good thread here:

Finally got around to replacing the rusty old bolts with some nice new ones as recommended by M1AGM

Brill. I have been wondering if/when you were going to sort those out!

So much better, and less than a tank of fuel.

Yup it tidies things up nicely and worth the £50 or so.

The Rose among the thorns.
I took my girl for a drive, which we do monthly, with the Porsche group. About 20 cars in total, mostly Porsche but there are others.
It was a very foggy morning and this was our first stop after heading over the mountain twisty bits. All up about 140kl.

The Vanquish handled herself very well especially with her new Michelin PS Cup 2's.

A day out driving through the Cotswolds to Hampton Manor near Solihull and back. Weather was perfect and car behaved impeccably.

Apologies - can't work out how to rotate second image in the forum.

Not sure they get to be rotated but I've found that making an edit on the image (e.g. a small crop) then saving the changed image usually fixes it.

Got a full xpel ppf and ceramic coat done. Wheels taken off and ceramic coated. And had my AMR decal colour changed to match the union flag wings badges on the car. I love this car.

Looking ultra sleek, love the subtle details like the circle around the side repeaters, the AMR colours, the light grey stripe and the clean grille.

Thanks!

And thanks EVR. The graphic guy was amazing. They love Astons and decided this was perfect for hunting German cars. wink

Went for a drive for first time in ages, before holiday traffic builds up, enhanced by all the nice cars seen en route. Astons, Ferraris, lambos, mclarens, TVRs, old bMw, scimitar GTE, and rolls. Wondered If any of the 3 Astons I passed on my way back ( possibly heading out to Coombe Abbas) are on here - red v12, black v8, blue new v8 ? Also the lovely grey/yellow V12VS I passed heading out of Bournemouth.
