Yes they are! You do know it'll go in the back too, don't you? Are the drop-outs on your Canyon's forks alloy or are you happy clamping carbon drop-outs (as some say you shouldn't)? Sorry to the bike-hater sub-forum for the bike speak.Handed it over to AM Nottingham for this bubbling (and several other bits) to be repaired by Chartwells. For one bit by the mirror arm on the same door it is the third time that it has bubbled so they say they may need to put a new door on it. Not sure when I'm going to see my much loved Vantage again

Pete, mines in for similar at AM Bristol, doing two doors, cills and rear wings, plus the mirror stalks, under warranty
Interested in the cills and rear wings Steve as those are composite and steel respectively rather than the aluminium panels that bubbling usually affects. Is it bubbling in those areas or something else?V8V Pete said:

They are doing the doors, cills and rear wings to make sure it matches, well thats what they told meThat makes sense now Steve. Mine's having the front corners of the bonnet done so they are putting new PPF on there (and anywhere else they need to blow in to for that matter). Quite happy about that as the bonnet film has a few bits where its self-healing ability has been overcome by rocks thrown at it on drives
Hi Pete,
Just got similar kind of bubble on the actual handle below the two leds. Can only just see it when you look close, but was disappointed as only 2.5 years old. AM said they would sort it on warranty when in for service, but seems like this is common and recurring which is a worry.

I really think it’s pot luck, my 2010 car was used as a daily for the first year and under my 5 years of ownership lived outside April-October and never showed any signs of corrosion. Friend has a mint 6 year old coupe that is only used in the summer and has had several areas repaired already.
Yesterday I took my V12VS to get a new set of boots. Michelin PS4Ss and, for a treat, a four-wheel alignment. The initial Hunter report was a total mess - cross-eyed, bandy-legged and one leg loads shorter than the other. The ‘after’ report is spot-on, and what a transformation. The car rides better, turns better and doesn’t slither around like a fool. Incredible, and a huge thanks to Elite Tyres in Rainham.
