Well today I thought I would clean the inside of the rear windscreen....jeez....what a job.
Now we all know the rear seats are for your coat or your dog but i thought i would give it a go. I'm only 5 ft 8 afterall. So in stocking feet and armed with cloths and sprays I gingerly climbed in the back.
Ffs , I got in but then couldn't really move to clean the bloody screen. I don't know how many times I kneed myself in the face trying relocate feet into different positions.

I think it's clean but whether it's streak free I have no idea. Perhaps a job for my granddaughter next time.
I know my back is going to pay for my efforts tomorrow.

Very brave, I tried once in my DB9 (I am 6’4”) and never again ! I don’t think my DB11 rear screen was cleaned once in the 4.5 years I owned it. DBX will be more manageable!

Heard today that all the gears have passed crack testing. Good job too as spares don't exist. So the box should be back in the car by the end of the month.

Stoner glass reach and clean tool should help and allows you to get into the corners cleanly.

Finally if you use a mix of low water wash tools it minimises streaking. Personally, I have found using Optimum no rinse one damp in a bucket and one to dry leaves streak free glass.

I usually just wash with a cloth, dry then use a an isopropyl deionised water mix spray with a fresh cloth to polish off the glass but I shall investigate the tools you mention as not familiar with them.
Mildly intrigued now.....

Cheers Ninja, just ordered one. Worth giving it a go cos today was quite ridiculous, I must have looked like a beach whale trapped in a (very pretty) car flapping about rofl

Thanks both. First Aston only picked her up two weeks ago and lots to learn already hit by the low battery causing issues but that's now sorted.

Congratulations, I really like that spec, it suits the car very well imo. Is it quantum silver?

It's Titanium Grey... but in real life it's green.

in the first episode of the series V-wars, there is a guy driving fast in such Aston V8 Vantage :-) I forgot at around what time, but it was more in the beginning.

the other guy askes him, how fast can you get here, he answers, fast :-)

Car into Notts AM this morning as have had bouts of the eml light coming on for a few days then going off before coming back. Only thing showing on the machine was 'exhaust valve open circuit' which would bring the eml light on. They thought the CCCharger may be causing it so asked them to take it out and replace the fuse and we'll see if that sorts it.

On a different note they spotted the ns rear light had a bit of condensation in it and voila...a new one fitted under warranty! I'd always assumed that warranty would only cover it when the light failed but apparently not ????
