Yesterday I took my V12VS to get a new set of boots. Michelin PS4Ss and, for a treat, a four-wheel alignment. The initial Hunter report was a total mess - cross-eyed, bandy-legged and one leg loads shorter than the other. The ‘after’ report is spot-on, and what a transformation. The car rides better, turns better and doesn’t slither around like a fool. Incredible, and a huge thanks to Elite Tyres in Rainham.
Did they settings in the computer? Or your own?

Factory settings. As it was so woefully all over the place it seemed most sensible to get it set up properly before deciding to deviate from whatever Aston’s suspension and geometry wizards originally intended.

Fitted the winter wheels (Sottozeros) and, after nearly having a double amputation at the wrists, ordered a pair of new tailgate struts.

Ha! Now you'll be needing excuses to keep popping the bonnet open. Really need to check the oil levels quite often just to be sure.

Handed it over to AM Nottingham for this bubbling (and several other bits) to be repaired by Chartwells. For one bit by the mirror arm on the same door it is the third time that it has bubbled so they say they may need to put a new door on it. Not sure when I'm going to see my much loved Vantage again frown

Went to view my Vantage at Chartwells today to check I was happy with the paintwork they have done before Paintshield reinstate the PPF. Looks like they've done an excellent job (I cannot tell where they've painted) so the film is going back on next Tuesday and I will finally get my car back next Wednesday. They didn't put a new door on it so fingers crossed the bit by the mirror arm doesn't return again. Looking forward to next week .........

Picked up my V8V from AM Cheltenham after a service which in the past 12 months the car has been driven a lot, in all weathers, so i was expecting a expensive one. To be fair apart from the usual consumables it wasn't too bad.
Really good service from the Service Manager, Amy there and the car had a good clean when i picked it up.....winter filth and muddy shoe prints inside when i left it, all gone.
The A6 Audi was perfectly acceptable as a loaner but would of preferred a nice DBS for a day next time.....i can wish.

Thank you.

Ceramic Grey. Lovely colour. Quite dark but very sparkly in the sun. Also seems to have a slight dark green hue sometimes in late evening light but I've never really caught that on camera.

Went for a little convoy. My brother and I both got in on the Vantage finance deal and picked the cars up last weekend (his is the grey one, mine blue). Trying to get some mileage on them to at least give them a bit of a run-in!

Then washed it today for the first time

Just goes to show if you make the deals attractive to a wider audience you will shift the cars.

Really happy AM dealers have found a way to move some of the stock cars, this enables the dealerships to order in some new stock.

There might be a glut of used 2 year old AM cars in the future but that is ripe for the secondhand market as alot of the initial depreciation has already taken place.

Great story about the 2 brothers, they look ace. Enjoy your cars.

Fantastic.

Not sure why they put non existant (1972/73) show plates on a track only car.
Here are a couple of DB4 GTs in 1959/63 period.
