Am I correct, the first (road car) Aston Martin with front disc brakes ?
Normally people would say was that the first hatchback and the answer is possibly, but in the case of disc brakes, yes, you are correct. The DB2/4 had drums and on the first 100 DB MkIIIs they were optoinal smile

Solar bronze, which varies in the sunlight conditions with a blue velvet shade in certain light.

Thanks, was initially a DBX colour, and think it’s it’s the only DBS in solar bronze. Just need to drop the ride height with some lower springs and be perfect, IMO!

Slightly cheating as mine arrived back on Monday post bodyshop (with the rear bumper present).

Awesome job, did 20 miles in it briefly and back on battery conditioner as we had a battery warning. Probably do a bit of a paint cleanse and wax on it on Sunday.

Don't forget to change your pollen filters.

Can you spot the difference...........

I get the feeling mine haven't been changed for a while, if at all.

today, in my Aston, I went sideways...

in a straight line...

by accident...

Apparently, PS4S don't like a bootfull of throttle in really heavy rain.

I've always had top-end tyres on all my cars, even sheds. My previous car was a 150bhp Alfa GT diesel running on Uniroyal Rainsports in summer and Dunlop winters when it got cold. It was pretty much unstoppable in any weather.

Going sideways NOT on demand isn't much fun, so the Alfa would probably have been faster today. One to watch for in the future, as I get used to RWD again...

Check the pressures on them mine did similar in heavy rain not long after getting it and there was quite a large difference in cold tyre pressure

Good call - I thought it felt a bit weird when I started driving, but just put it down to the rain. I’ll check later

Trip out to a local meet - first time out in the vantage since it was put away for the winter. Good to report no issues and a fun drive there and back with Paul
