OMG .... My granddad had one of these, used to take me as a child driving over the Yorkshire moors in it at some horrendous speeds that frightened my mother but I used to love it. Wow, thanks so much for posting his car looked exactly like this, same colour, black vinyl roof etc.

When he died I begged my dad to keep the car but it was sold. I was only about 6.

What a day...unfortunately my car needs to return to Works post bodyshop visit because of an issue with the paint work (for rectification/rework call it what you will).

All I will say is, I did not expect to be chatting with Paul Spires to help resolve the issue. Thankfully he resonated with me and what has gone on post return of my car.

Feels a little bittersweet right now, but I look forward to getting the car back as it should have been.

Sorry to hear that Ninja - sounds most unusual for there to be a Paintwork issue from Works but I guess no one is perfect.
Paul is a top chap though !

Yes, I am tad surprised as well. As you have said though no one is perfect, the other items since have been avoidable though and sadly culimnated in the steps I took today reaching out to Paul.

Paul is a top chap and in one conversation has helped patch over the damage done to the relationship I have with Works (and ironically avoid me cancelling the other work later in the year I already have scheduled in).

I learnt to drive in one hence the fascination, not quite as fast as my old SP10 though!

Not today per se but from last Sunday until yesterday 1400 miles driving the Wild Atlantic Way.

Great roads, great views and very little traffic.

I drove it for the first time since sometime last year (maybe Sept).

I did wash it first though.
