1. Applied Autoglym Tyre Dressing.
2. Needed an toothbrush to clean the crevices in the rubber stone guards.

Winter hibernation is over, but have had showers today, so hopefully it might be a dry day tomorrow.
I know our cars are waterproof, but a dry drive means no washing to do.

Another one that’s come out of hibernation today. Quick clean up and then out for a shakedown before I take it to Aston Installations on Thursday.

Another one fitted the Headlight venting kit courtesy of Ian @ amupgrades. Had it on the last V8V and the 1st thing done on the N430. Also fitted and wired in a wireless phone mount charger, front and rear dash cam and a magnetic charge point. Just needs a wash now, tomorrow's job!

( Yesterday ) , GT8 came out of its 5 month hibernation to go to a local car meet.
Cleaned the brake discs off of their surface rust.
Thought today was another proper run out but it’s pouring down.

Vanquish S been in for service and I will collect tomorrow, no doubt with a lovely high bill to celebrate the occasion.
So in the last couple of weeks she has been for Mot, Service and road tax paid.
I've even ordered the air quality certificate things needed in France for all vehicles on a ' just in case' basis.
Only about £4 each so no biggy but getting prepared for the summer.........woo hoo
Little bike trip to nurburgring next month so may need the air certs then for my bike as not sure what route I'm likely to take from rhe chunnel. Just going to follow my nose.

Dragged mine out of the garage for a dust off and warm up ready for MOT at the end of the month.

Pushed it a foot across the garage to avoid flat spots on the tyres.

The car will come out of hibernation in April and is already booked in for its service.

Good god, no.

It doesn’t need a wash - you can still tell it’s green.

Another trip out to the Evo Triangle... then Betwys for a bacon butty...

Experimenting with the sports mode on the suspension, originally I didn't think there was much difference, but there is smile ..
The VH era Vantage may be gettng a bit long in the tooth, but I love it. Bring on the summer!!

Generally out and about in it, using it as a daily over the weekend. Bit of shopping, run out to see the in-laws, and on Sunday a run to Caffeine&Machine for a morning coffee and to kick some tyres - it was rammed, which was a surprise.

Pic below is at our local farm shop, parked next to its larger, younger brother. The perspective does not really show how huge the DBX really is next to a V8V

Enjoyed my first drive following winter hibernation.
Everything working well.

Thought to try the antique Volvo satnav. It is a hoot. A man with a very traditional English accent was giving me rather unhelpful instructions. eg. "At the roundabout, turn right".
This occurred several times, but what he should have been saying was, "Take the second exit, to go straight on".
Fortunately, I knew the roads, so just ignored him.

Cannot beat a smartphone held on a dashboard magnet for more accurate, up to date guidance, but the Volvo satnav is a wonderful piece of history. It goes perfectly with manual gearboxes, human operated wipers and headlights, and absence of turbos.

Took it out of winter storage last week. Fired right up!. Now it's cold again and the forecast is calling for light snow. So back to hibernation.

Out and about today enjoying the sun and just following my nose through the lanes.

Boreham Airfield in the first pics and Andrewsfield later. Both in sunny Essex.
