At about 135mph on a runway, 18 to go to Vmax but tyres not capable then (HR not ZR). AZ will recognise the place
I think I do. RAF Wittering on AMOC's visit in around 2006. Had my DBR1 replica there and one of my DB9s.

Had a refurbed driver’s side rear light fitted today by the very nice people at Aston Installations in Tewkesbury. Yes, I could have saved a few quid by sending the light away, but there’s the risk of it being lost in the post, and the time off the road.

As I suspected, I had a look at their Apple CarPlay solution, which is rather nice, and would mean I could lose the phone holder off the dash. Just trying to justify the not-insignificant cost….

Finally had a social drive in 2024. Wonderful friends, great roads up to and round the Llyn Brianne reservoir, mid-Wales.

A good mix of Astons including the new DB12 and two AMRs of different vintages.

It was even sunny in Wales!!!

The first wash. A time of bonding. A time to discover all the little details. I love this car.

Also, check out my whopping bonnet. It is huge.

So sparkly.

Attended a Cars and Coffee in SW Florida. This is a huge show, about 1000 cars of all stripes. First pic shows my DB11 with bonnet up. Pic only covers about 25% of show as impossible to get a panoramic that big.

Second pic - Driving out of the show is a bit like driving a gauntlet. Out of all these cars, I had the only DB11. There were two other older DB9s

Went to an AMOC event at Hatfield House. Sone lovely cars as always, nice to get out in the sunshine, and lovely tour by a staff member of the gardens and house.

Replaced the 6 year old Bridgestones on my DB9 with Michelin PS4S’s. Oh my, what a difference! If anyone else is running a few year old Bridgestones and feels like they’re getting a bit too much kickback from small road imperfections, do this first!!

For US readers, I ordered my tires from Tire Rack to be drop shipped to the local Discount Tire for installation (they’re the same company now). I didn’t trust them to raise the car from the correct locations or to torque the nuts with the correct two step sequence, so I lifted the car myself on my QuickJacks and took just the wheels in for installation. All went ok.

Great work - something I'm considering too - could I ask where you got the diffuser from and how it was to fit?? thanks

had it from ECPS - they do a range of carbon bits for lots of sports cars etc - was a few weeks wait but totally worth it and cheaper than AM prices - all carbon fibre but i had it finished in piano black to match the rest of the bits on the car

i had it fitted as recently had the car serviced and left it with the garage for a few days so took the opportunity to get them to fit

im aware its - lights out - wheels off - arch liners out - bumper off to do it though !

Local cars & Coffee followed by an ABS Sensor change. Had to take advantage of the weather.
