You mean the dreadnought v600?

Surely the final V12 Vantage is the R-Reforged resurrection of the V12 Vantage Zagato?
V12 R-Reforged Vantage Zagato !!? I have no idea what hodge-podge of limited edition one-upmanship this is... a reworking of an existing 2012-era V12 Vantage Zagato I assume, not a "new" product?

Plugged the ctek in frown
I,ve forgotten how to unplug mine.
Mine went back to storage last week and back on its Ctek too.
I’m planning phase 2, but torn between leaving it standard (to ease sale should worst case scenario arise), or planning some mild but ultimately reversible tweaks

So ive always liked the original sills from the 06-08 Vantage in preference to the options which came later with the N400, V12 etc

here's my car converted back to original sills

makes so much more of the swell of the rear arches

Graze
Could you tell the forum what exactly was involved in converting sills back to Classic? smile

Simple really

Remove old ones incl the rubber seal

Install new ones and rubber seal and paint the right colour

You will pick up a second hand pair of sill for £200 or thereabouts on ebay or through the forums, then labour and paint costs

I'm very happy with it

Just need spacers now

Just as a heads up - the stone guards (mud flaps) on the front are a must have to prevent stone chips all up those lovely rear arches.

£100 ish and easy to fit and a no brainer.

I've got single PPF all along the sills and double PPF on the rear arches

Essential food shop today. First drive for 3 weeks...

Half expected an old banger to be parked up next to me when I got back as is the norm in half empty car parks, but not today.

Glad I didn’t sorn it. Keep well everyone.

Started cleaning and conditioning the leather.

Bugger there’s a lot of leather, only managed one side, save the rest for tomorrow.

Time for a beer now.

Went to the village butchers shop... Oh the horror! The most direct route has been closed by the council for several weeks because of slippage during the flooding, concrete blocks in the road and everything. Sadly, I had to go the long way round to get to the shop, and then the even longer way home again because to get the Vantage up the drive without grounding the spoiler I have to approach from a particular direction...

plugged the trickle charger in ....it went for a trip to next village butchers last week, but its only 3 mile and not enough of a journey to keep the battery charged.

In fact this is the 'before', it got so warm that I forgot to snap the 'after' but i did go for a quick spin round the block to 'make sure they were dry ' getmecoat

Fitted one of amupgrades fan kits for the headlights . Very easy to do , wheels on .
When I put the car in the garage at the start of lock down range showed 45 miles . Having shuffled it in and out a few times and warmed it up to check the kit worked , range is down to zero ....

Took it out of the garage so it could catch some sun.
