Left the tailgate and doors open all day. I took a click and collect Nando's round to my daughter's yesterday evening and have attempted to air the car out today to remove all traces of the tasty peri peri chickeny aroma.

It's not been 100% successful yet. laugh

Trying out a set of black wheels (as opposed to the original silver lightweights) and new 4S tyres (previously corsas).

If I keep them I need to sort out some tyre pressure sensors as I’m running without them at the moment
Nice colour. The right colour for a V12V.

Those new wheels are the winter wheels aren't they? I used to have a set of winter wheels. Are they lighter than the standard wheels?
Thanks John - mako blue seems to get mostly positive comments.

I bought the wheels locally from a guy with a V8S as I wanted to see what the car looked like with black wheels and didn’t want to change my original wheels. The originals on my car are lightweight wheels (in silver) but I’ve no idea re the actual weight comparison?
Still to early to offer any comments re the new 4S tyres over the corsa’s.

Washed n cleaned the wheels n tyres earlier today just before the heavens opened...

How many miles do you want? V12V or V12VS?

Didn’t explain my self very well, I bought my V12VS from Newcastle a couple of weeks ago it’s done 4K miles, but prior to that I went to my local dealer in Bristol to view 2 V12’s one of which was the Mako car with the manual box but it was older and higher mileage than I was looking for.
And as regards the other car I let someone jump ahead of me for the test drive and he bought it !

Fitted these,
I always thought my car was missing the wiper nut covers. Found these 3D printed ones due £10 on eBay.
Perfect fit.
Surprised they didn't come factory fitted.

Also available directly in rubber from BMW specifically for that application.

Part number 61611383432 at $0.60c each. 1989-1999 BMW 8-Series.

So today I fitted all new retaining clips and new bolts for the aluminium under tray, then hlgave two coats of ceramic coats to my freshly refurbed wheels and too the opportunity to deep clean my arches, remove tar and treat all plastics to shine them up.

Next stop, air con fix and she's perfect.

Went to Switzerland for the weekend!

And oddly enough, before Varese in Italy I met a nice DBS Volante in I think Quantum Silver too, French plate 83. Cheers if you read this!

Those suspension pictures look fantastic, well done guys, I thought I kept the Griff clean, but I can see I'm going to be extra busy with the Aston.

Well I drove mine for the first time today!

Oh hello everyone from a miserable windy and rain sodden Lune Valley ( Northernmost tip of Lancashire )

Even the weather couldn’t spoil how spectacular this Aston is!

Haha yep, borders opened on the 15th, could not wait to go and visit some friends for a BBQ in Lugano.

Customs agent asked if I had anything to declare, I said "Around 12 beers in the trunk." and he replied "Good job!". biggrin
