It looks a lot better than I thought it would from the camo shots. And better than its competition too.
The more I'm seeing of this, the more I'm liking it and appreciating some of the external design features. I'll be very interested to see how it drives in the coming months. It looks a lot better than I thought it would from the camo shots. And better than its competition too.
I'll be in he market for a SUV next year.
I've sold my Range Rover Supercharged Autobiography and was looking to buy a SV Autobiography Dynamic (that would be my 6th Range Rover).
The DBX is growing on me, thing is after a couple of Range Rovers I bought a Cayenne and ended up with yet another Range Rover which is the perfect all-rounder.
The DBX looks good in the Car Wow video , interior looks beautiful, probably the best interior in the model range right now, it seems a lot of thought has gone into this.
Back seats do look like an afterthought though, they really are bench like with no reclining facility, they don't look very confortable especially when you compare with the back seats of an SV (proper) Range Rover where they recline, are heated and massaged with individual winged head rests.
OK so it will be more sporty than a Range Rover and will probably drive like a Range Rover Sport SVR, but then I don't like the SVR and prefer the proper Range Rover with the same engine.
Also the DBX boot, although the Car Wow video claims it is bigger than the Range Rover's I find that hard to believe, and if you have a large dog, the sloping rear window doesn't leave the poor dog much height, again the Range Rover's boot with the more upright rear end will be more practical.
My Bernese mountain dog (who sadly passed away) used to jump straight in as soon as I opened the RR's boot, the German shepherd doesn't seem too keen on the bootspace either! Perhaps he wasn't told the DBX has a German engine!
A V12, although completely unnecessary, would make this quite a unique offering in this segment... and very tempting indeed.

Will it have “hand built in Wales” kick plates?
There’s definitely an option for that.I’m not sure whether replacing the AM wings with a dragon is yet available though

It may or may not be important to you, but be aware that the DBX doesn't have the same towing capacity as the Land Rover product. (2.7T vs 3.5T)I've sold my Range Rover Supercharged Autobiography and was looking to buy a SV Autobiography Dynamic (that would be my 6th Range Rover).
