So any sign of AM doing a similar deal to the one they did over Xmas (£1k/month) ?
I think its unlikely (but not impossible) that we'll see that again. As per AP's hints in the January profit warning (and last weeks results), production at Gaydon has been slashed drastically (-50%). The Stroll plan as i understand it is just to build cars for customer order, not for dealer stock (beyond the usual small number of demonstrators etc).

If that plan holds then the need to offer a cheap finance offer shouldn't resurface. Its good news for residuals (over time) as the cars will be rarer and less prone to heavy front end discounting. Bad news for Gaydon employees (but perhaps better than no AML at all)

Saw a 68 reg one in Chesterfield on Friday. Dark grey colour. Have to say, despite many negative comments,it looked fantastic. amongst all the ordinary traffic even on a wet miserable day it really looked the biz. Especially from the rear/side.
I thought it made the old Vantage look quite old fashioned, although in 20 yrs time one may well look sweeter than the other.
Only thing I'm not mad about is the turbine style wheels....but I'd still have one.

Has anyone had this happen? - message saying “transmission fault, reduced engine performance”. Car was stuck in 6th gear and we couldn’t turn the engine off. The solution was to hold the neutral button for 5 seconds.

I went to Beaulieu last weekend, in convoy, and I was followed by a friend in a Vantage. In dark metallic grey it looked good in my mirrors: mean, aggressive and exciting. On arrival he parked very close to one in dark metallic olive green which also looked good. I arrived at the conclusion that they are colour sensitive and suit darker colours, not the lurid shades AML chose for the launch.
