Finally! I am not the only person who "gets" the whole Morgan/Aston thing.
My first Aston was a Flugplatz blue V12S and I loved it so much I phoned my local dealer and told him that if they ever do a runout, CALL ME! I managed to bag a V12 AMR and its here to stay. Like you the new stuff just does nothing for me. Too complicated, fussy designs and turbos can eat a dick. Effective, but nowhere near as charismatic as the NA V12 in the AMR.
I also own 3 Morgans. A 3 wheeler in Gulf colours, an Aero Coupe in Porsche Heron Grey, and an Aero GT in two tone green and gold. The Morgans just bit me and I adore everything about the brand and what the cars give you in terms of experience. No they are not polished like some of the mainstream manufacturers but they are honest and involving and its you driving it not a bunch of computers that know best. I get no flack when driving my Morgans unlike I do with the Aston from time to time. Plus if you stick your money in a Morgan, its generally safe as houses. They don't seem to massively increase in value but they tend to keep their value which is a pretty rare thing in the motoring world.
I am very envious of your ARP4. Its one I must try at some point and right up my street. Great in terms of an investment too! They are really fetching strong money.
Sadly the Aero Coupe is up for sale at the moment with Williams Automobiles. Dropped a link for anyone interested.

Top lurking Jon!
There must be a strong crossover of Aston and Morgan fans then, because I feel the same way.
I'm currently planing on getting rid of my 3rd Aston, which is a DB9V. I still adore the car, but after 2 years I feel like a change. I'd love a Gen 2 Vanquish Volante, but they're just a little bit much for now. Currently my top choice is a 3-wheeler; I've loved the idea of one ever since they were released, and recently persuaded SWMBO to grudgingly accept the idea.
I test drove one recently and they are quite an experience. I have to say though, that having gone down to the dealership to try the 3-wheeler I found myself staring longingly at roadsters and +4s they had there. I could easily be tempted into one of those if I decide the 3W isn't for me.

Last time I went to buy a 3 Wheeler I came home with a Plus 4 My only criticism of the 3 Wheeler, which looks fantastic and is an absolute hoot to drive, is the price which has always seemed a bit toppy given that it pretty much 1.5 motorcycles. I've been waiting for a good second hand one to come up at the right price and it hasn't happened yet. If anything prices are ticking up.
Sounds like they get under your skin.

I must try one. I had my name on the list years ago but got a TVR instead and lost my deposit. Seemed like a good idea at the time but still need to scratch the Morgan itch someday.

The price is bonkers for what it is, but I can honestly say it's never worried me. A 3-wheeler is likely to be worth pretty much the same in a few years as it is now, so from that point of view it's one of the cheapest cars you can buy.My only criticism of the 3 Wheeler, which looks fantastic and is an absolute hoot to drive, is the price which has always seemed a bit toppy given that it pretty much 1.5 motorcycles. Either way, I think I'll at least try a Morgan with some extravagant luxury extras (eg doors, a roof and two back wheels) before I opt for the utter lunacy of actually spending tens of thousands on a car with only three wheels.

That's pretty much the conclusion I reached although the roof of my Plus 4 was extremely rudimentary. Of all the cars i've had over the years it is the only one I still have emotional pangs about selling.Either way, I think I'll at least try a Morgan with some extravagant luxury extras (eg doors, a roof and two back wheels) before I opt for the utter lunacy of actually spending tens of thousands on a car with only three wheels.

You’d have to be doing seriously well to be running a Lambo in your 20s! I made the change from a V12VS to a 570s in early Dec , 1000 miles in and not a single issue to report yet and that’s with a mix of motorway, city, B roads and track use... car also seems well screwed together...it’s not a new car though being a 2016 model with 17k on the clock so maybe that’s helped. In an ideal world I’d love to have both in my garage tbh.
Out of curiosity, which do you prefer so far? I was long considering a 570s - love the design inside and out, but do they feel as special as the V12VS? they certainly didn't sound as good when i tested (afterall few things do!).... but i cant help loving them for many reasons. I ended up with a standard manual V12V - honestly got a little scared by Mclaren depreciation, as I was looking for a relatively short-termer and decided the standard V12V (manual as I disliked the sportshift) was the thing to go for then. I still have some pangs for the 570s, and starting to consider my long-term car future, and whether this V12V is the keeper (starting to think it may just be - though also potentially looking at replacing the CCM's with some steel rotors for longer term trackability).

The 570s is the better car to drive much more advanced tech, for me it does feel more special than the Vantage mainly because of its classic supercar looks and the silly doors, I grin everytime I get in or out of it ! Yes the Vantage sounds amazing and better than the 570s especially below 4K revs however I went thru a long tunnel on the M25 the other day and the 570s sounded great once you pushed the revs up. I managed to track the 570 last weekend and there it really shone compared to the Vantage, much quicker and more agile not to mention the huge weight differential (about 300kg). They are different cars and the Vantage certainly doesn’t want for charisma but I only have space for one fun car so I had to scratch the McLaren itch and so far I’m loving the experience.I still have some pangs for the 570s, and starting to consider my long-term car future, and whether this V12V is the keeper (starting to think it may just be - though also potentially looking at replacing the CCM's with some steel rotors for longer term trackability).

I tried a few varieties of Morgan but could never quite fall in love with the driving experience.https://www.morgan-motor.com/morgan-me-jon-hildred...

Bought a TVR Griffith 500 instead which is a great companion for the V8V.

I think every car fan should have a Morgan in their garage. Just a completely different experience to anything else. Good luck with your search! That’s largely because they hold their value so well. Just need to bite the bullet and enjoy. 👌🇬🇧My only criticism of the 3 Wheeler, which looks fantastic and is an absolute hoot to drive, is the price which has always seemed a bit toppy given that it pretty much 1.5 motorcycles. Always loved Morgans but never owned one, this picture though instilled huge amounts of want
Unfortunately something would have to go as I'm now short on space
I think it has alot to do with the facial expressions
Edited to add, I’ve had this pic for a while but I’ve just noticed the registration
