OMG, I have not seen these before. What a cracking idea.

But tell me, how does this fit under a Vantage, are there any blocks or other bits required? Really sad, but I'm excited!

When lowered they are only a few inches high Mike they just slide under the sides, they probably require foam pads to be placed on the tops prior to lifting, or possibly pucks positioned on the Jack points.

When I first took mine in for a test I was anxious that they understood the importance of raising an AM properly for checking the wheel bearings etc, but the guy said "don't worry we use these" and picked up two high density foam blocks around 4ft long which he placed on top of the ramp side beams before raising them.

See the video here: https://youtu.be/bHlOUA6qyR8

The only thing not supplied is ATF to use as hydraulic fluid.

That Costco link above is for a smaller model. You want a 5000SLX for your Aston.

I picked up a set of the Quickjacks from Costco (UK) back in November.

So far really really good. When combined with a set of the lifting pucks (see the other thread) lifting the Vantage is a doddle.

So much better than messing around with jacks in the wrong places and lifting the whole side at one time. The kit is expensive but totally worth it. I figure'd doing two services of my own on a couple of cars and they have basically paid for themselves.

This raises the car upto max 1m. It has several safety interlocks in case of hydraulic failure.

These look like they might be a bit more sturdy than the quickjacks.
