As title really, it's either massively sensitive or random. Have got it set on reduced guard which is supposed to disable various sensors but still going off a few times per day/night.

Any ideas as to what it might be or suggestion as to how I can tell which sensor is triggering the alarm? Any way to adjust sensitivity?

Thanks in advance!

I don’t know about the Rapide but I had the same problem with my V12 Vantage. It turned out to be a faulty interior motion sensor. I don’t believe that sensitivity can be adjusted

Is the battery good? I'm wondering if the alarm is sensing a voltage drop and assuming it's a door being opened.

A dealer will be able to tell you what caused the alarm event. Probably charge a fair bit too !

I only mention this because of the shared heritage; with my last two Jaguar XJs the random alarms were caused by the same cheap Ford bonnet switch which goes faulty probably to lack of use. Wouldn't be surprised if the same switch is used on the Rapide.

I had this on my Range Rover - was the bonnet latch.

Thanks all, the car is currently with Aston Martin Wilmslow for warranty work (PCV system) so may ask them to investigate whilst its there, depending on the cost! Otherwise will check the bonnet/boot latch sensor.
