Now the insurance has paid out i can show my pride and joy, not in a very nice state. Last saturday during storm dennis, i hit standing water and it flipped me over, only doing 40 and this is what can happen. Luckily i got out and walked away with only a slightly stiff neck. I am looking for a replacement now so watch this space.

Shame to have happened to such a beautiful car. Good that you are ok though. I'm sure you will get the next one 'sorted' soon.

That looks like a very nice replacement...

But what a week you must have had. Glad you’re in one piece, even though your car didn’t fare as well.

Flipping eck. Lucky your ok.
Is it bad form to ask for more info of the flip over?
Just curious. As I get older I’m more careful about lots of things inc my driving in bad weather.
Seeing your motor doesn’t help lol

Hi, just hit water, not sure how deep on a narrow road and it spun me, hit the opposite bank resulting in a quick roll.

The main thing is that you are well after that detour!

Appreciate your sharing. To me, it just shows how inherently safe the Vantage is. I can see why you lumped straight for another. Enjoy the new one!

Ouch frown

At least you are ok, the car can be replaced.....

Did you have the corsa tyres or more "regular" michelins ?

Stephen

Pleased u survived what must have been a frightening experience. These cars are so accomplished and well sorted it must have been a real surprise.

Pity about the car too

Like the new one thought - congrats
