Now the insurance has paid out i can show my pride and joy, not in a very nice state. Last saturday during storm dennis, i hit standing water and it flipped me over, only doing 40 and this is what can happen. Luckily i got out and walked away with only a slightly stiff neck. I am looking for a replacement now so watch this space.

Good news that you walked away. Shame about the car, but it did it's job of protecting you.

I guess we'll see some red carbon fibre parts, lightly soiled on one of the usual internet sites soon ;-)

It's sad to see such a fantastic car looking like that but as others have said it's great that it protected you and you're okay. Hopefully you'll be in your replacement soon.

Hi, just hit water, not sure how deep on a narrow road and it spun me, hit the opposite bank resulting in a quick roll.

That`s a hell of a shame after all the attention and tweaks you applied to the old V12, but to echo everyone else, glad you walked away and moving on so quickly is clearly a sign of no ill effect. All the best with pampering the new car and vice versa!

Wow, what a story. Glad you are ok, you can always joke about been chased by Spectre or something! biggrin

It does really look like one of the cars used in the movies.

Hi Stephen

I would like to echo everyone’s sentiment on here. Glad you’re ok. It must have been a very traumatic experience. Shame to see your car the way it is now after all the modifications you did to it. But as others have said, it did a good job of looking after you. Good luck with the new beast. I look forward to seeing what amendments you make to this one!

Best Regards

Minglar

Really impressive pictures.
Glad you're OK and at the end of the day it's just a car, lucky you walked away with only material damage.
You buying the same car again must mean something.
They're addictive but can bite at you.
I had a massive slide on a wet motorway in mine, applied too much throttle when I wasn't out of the curve yet. I got lucky and was able to set the car straight again, it must have been quite a sight for the BMW driver pushing behind me.
