Has anyone made a spreadsheet of this and care to share it?

Nope, but as it’s your first post I’m sure many members would be very grateful if you took on the task and shared it.

Well I’ll certainly be doing one so happy to share.

Much appreciated - there’s a lot of time and effort gone in people researching and posting and a concise summary will be extremely useful.

Ideally something that can be linked to and updated.

Does anyone know if there’s an equivalent part for a 2012 Vantage S wheel speed sensor?

Thanks.

Anyone know who makes the headlamp washers for V8 Vantage?
I believe Hella does, or they at least make the quick disconnect part of the washer. I've been looking for one independent of the hose assembly, but I can only find them at AstonMartinBits, and being US based, paying $60 due to shipping for a glorified hose clamp seems a bit much.

They look very similar to a fuel quick-disconnect, so I'm going to try and search through ones used on Jag and LR to see if AM grabbed them from a parts bin.

Hello,

I'm looking for 8 coil Packs for my 2006 V8 VANTAGE.
They look common to many other but how to be sure to buy the good one ?

There is set of 8 on Amazon for $ 259

I have a call into my contact at Brembo to see what they can do about parts for the Rapides. Fingers crossed.
Any luck on this one mate? Just got hurt by Porsche for front disks at £720. Sure they are a bit bigger than a Mondeo's but I keep seeing OEM fitment stuff for fraction of the price buying direct...

Evening

Has anyone managed to find separate front upper & lower ball joints? I have got the old ones pressed out so if I can find new ones it saves having to buy complete new upper and lower wishbones.

Got an upper sat on my desk and have tried to find a replacement, but without any joy. I believe one is a Ford Transit, but not sure which or which model.

Would love to get this sorted, as together with the Powerflex bushes you can get an uprated, updated suspension at lower cost than buying new.

I would be interested in pictures of the ball joints in case I can match them up with Ford or Jaguar items.

Are these AM designed and produced, or a parts bin item used by AM ? Even high quality ball joints are £15 max. They aren’t rocket science. The ethos of this thread is to avoid the Aston tax on bits that came from the Ford group parts bin.

It’s not possible to get the exact ball joints from elsewhere so that’s why we had them produced, much cheaper than having to buy a new arm if it’s not required so avoids the ‘Aston Tax’

I can confirm that the headlight washer quick disconnect is also used on VWs & Audi's. The part number is 8D0955875. I think it was originally manufactured by Hella and used across multiple OEMs. You can't buy the part directly from AM, you'd have to buy the entire hose kit if you happened to break something during disassembly.
