Hi Jonny, thats great info, will they be the same for an early DB9??
I feel a front end refresh coming on!!!!
Indeed they will ! https://www.scuderiacarparts.com/part/183291/aston...I feel a front end refresh coming on!!!!
Great thread guys - even just a text listing per model as a sticky would be great to have - MODS? We can all paste in some info then.
It's the coils and plugs one that really rankles as manufacturers and retailers make a living selling a coil and plug for about £35 but we get charged £150 x 12! That is an outrageous mark up for bought in parts. We are not all fools with our money!
Porsche can be just as bad - they buy the disks and pads from Brembo and Texstar but charge 3x more than buying the same kit from a retailer. Why isn't it in their longer term interest to charge, say, 15% more than a retailer (especially as they can get them cheaper from Brembo than retailers can) and then sell shed loads more over the life of the car? Once its out of warranty I wont be going near them but would pay 15% more as they have a good warranty come in a really nice Bond St type boutique bag and you get a cup of coffee

They list a Champion set for the V12 Vantage as well ... I don't believe anyone has found an alternative to the Aston branded (NGK made I believe) ones for the V12?
Are they iridium? NGK 4477 are listed as the upgrade for the V12https://www.sparkplugs.co.uk/ngk-spark-plug-itr6f1...
Whilst changing my rear shock I managed to snap the threaded plastic part of my fuel filler cap. Replacements even second hand are £160 minimum. Other than the alloy outer (Aston unique) part the other plastic components are the same as Jag X type. I bought a second hand Jag one for £10 and simply swapped the parts over. The only other plastic part to swap is the “nose” that allows the Aston one to locate in the hinge whilst filling up
AMOC have alternative price/parts list. They are excel format so can't post the Vanquish one on here. Good reason to join the AMOC.
Plus we all work hard to advise you where to go for excellent work at sensible prices. We even have a few members who have commissioned their own parts. Such as brake rotors and radiators that are better than AML and at a lower price.

Same Blueprint ones are £21/pair here https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Air-Filter-Set-Fits-Ast...
