Hi all
It looks like quite a few can’t make the 16th, so please revert back to the 9th.
I will sacrifice myself on my mother in laws Sunday Lunch instead.
If you are meeting at Richmond, can I suggest going through Reeth and Keld?
Then to Kirkby Stephen and Sebergh, back througg Askkrigg.
You could even have a socially distanced stop at the Fat Lamb - the pub ran by the car enthusiast that we stopped at last time.
Have fun.
James
Do you think those roads will be reasonably quiet? It looks like quite a few can’t make the 16th, so please revert back to the 9th.

If they are that looks like a fun drive.
On the last runout we had some good roads, although we had a lot of traffic on the road to the viaduct.
If we can stick to the less popular roads we should be able to exercise the cars properly.
James I should be cleared to drive again on the 22nd of this month and will be up for a runout anytime after then.
I haven’t even seen my car since March.

Andy, (soofsayer) has kindly offered to organise a route and will also book a socially distance lunch so before we book can we have confirmed numbers please?
Sorry that james witton can't attended, definitely next time.
Currently we have 13 cars coming so that's ace, this will be a great day out.

I’d be up for this. Meeting at Wetherby services is good for me but should I bring the v12v or the v8?
Haha! Deffo the V12 - be good to renunite Kermit with his original wheels! I did have the secondary cats removed after hearing Kermit 😊
Hi, I’m new to the forum (first post) I bought a DBS during lockdown and now things have started to get moving again I’m keen to get some use out of it. I’m based in Northumberland so Scotch Corner would be the likely meet point for me if there is any space for me to tag along?
Strange how things happen but I actually went to look at a Ferrari California at an AM Dealership, my ambition had always been to have a Ferrari by 30 (albeit Im 33 now) and the California was the only one in my price range. Once there I saw a low mileage DBS and it immediately reminded me of the first time I seen it Casino Royale and forgot I had come to look at the California, I thought it may still be out of price range but was surprised at the depreciation, I had always looked at them as a rare car which held firm value. Long story short I did the lock down click and collect and took the car home in May.
There was a couple of issues which was picked up by AM dealership before collection but as most of the staff where furloughed they arranged for this to be done once the dealership was back up and running. It’s booked in for the end of this month where it will also have a service, if there is anything I should be checking or looking out for before I send it in your guidance would be hugely appreciated.
I look forward to hopefully meeting you all soon. Dan

There will a few of us heading South from the Newcastle area.
The last time we had a meet up at Scotch Corner the Northern contingent met up at Washington Services (Southbound) and headed down together.
I am sure we will do this again and you are, of course, welcome to join us there.

For those of us meeting in the Wetherby vicinity would you be interested in coffee and bacon sandwich for breakfast at Bowcliffe Hall, which is not much distance from Wetherby on the A1M. They can accommodate us on the terrace for under £5 a head? I thought it might make a nice start to the day and even better if they let us line up the cars outside the hall for a photo? Subject to interest I can get that arranged....

That's a great idea Andy, I'm in, we'll have to work out the timing that morning as i believe the north contingent are meeting us somewhere? paulrog1 said:

Which way are you heading after Wetherby. I would be driving over from Lancaster so depending on your route I might head over.
We will head up the A1 and meet the NE group at an agreed place before heading left or right. Not sure which at the moment. It will likely be that we head over to Leyburn, Hawes and Sedburgh, so you could meet us over that way.Gassing Station | Aston Martin | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
