If you are coming over Hawes/Sedbergh way I could make an Appearance in the Magma V12V for a short stint as I'm travelling from the Furness area !!

Bowcliffe Hall breakfast:

8.30 am start

Coffee served and (pre-wrapped) bacon sandwiches on the terrace (if dry). Anyone not ok with bacon please pm me and let me know.

We have permission to line the cars up outside the hall for photos.

I am gong to send back the booking form this afternoon.

I will need numbers attending confirmed before 27th July.

Perhaps set up a whatsapp group for this?

A Whats App group for the event would be good, a bit more secure for route and stuff and the phone numbers will come in handy on the day should any one get lost.

Fat Lamb up near Kirkby Stephen now booked for lunch. It worked well last time and if it’s not broken...

May I suggest that the if the NE contingent (and any others NW etc) would prefer we meet there for lunch rather than all meeting at Scotch Corner first? From the Wetherby side it would give us a much better run out instead of the boring A1 and from the Newcastle side likewise?

I've updated the list on page 1 regarding people who have confirmed meeting at Bowcliffe Hall.

Please can you all confirm if you'll be coming down from the north or meeting at the Hall?

Maybe if the North contingent get together and plan a route to take you to the Fat Lamb for lunch, you'll be able to avoid the A1 and plan a great route south?

Thanks. I have a few receipts I could’ve passed on to add to its history.
Thanks, shame it isn't the same car. (Adam looks at this a lot more than I do).

I should be able to make it. I live 5 miles from Fat Lamb, would prob drive over meet at Richmond on morning then head back over this way.

Just a warning, the council have been out tar and chipping roads in this area. Road between Orton and Shap (awesome road) and some of the Kirkby Stephen tebay road. Might have had sufficient traffic by 9th of August but it's horrible at moment.

That said I know some good roads in the area, it would be good to try and include the ribblehead to hawes to Kirkby Stephen roads ...

Fat Lamb sounds great, excellent venue and the owner is a car fan.

If anyone from lancashire or Cumbria driving across perhaps we could meet at tebay for the drive across to Richmond....

Ps my car is wrong on front page, DBS Volante not DB9. Guess I need to update my profile.

A couple of pages ago I suggested Washington services south but since then people has joined the trip from the west and someone made the suggestion that the NE contingent and the western contingent meet the Yorkshire contingent at the Fat Lamb which has been booked for lunch.

We could do our usual NE meet up, head across Northumbria and the North Pennines and rendezvous with the other areas at the Fat Lamb.

I have also invited Tina, my better half to join me as a county pub lunch is on the itinerary and earlier this year we did discuss bringing the ladies with us on one of our run outs and stopping somewhere for lunch.

Hi James, great you're coming now, I've added you on the list on page 1.

What seems to be going on now is the Wetherby contingent are now meeting at Bowcliffe Hall and then travelling to meet the NE and West contingents for lunch at the Fat Lamb.

It'll be a great day out!!!
