Those of you late joiners (myself included) are welcome to join the ‘not having lunch at the fat lamb’ team who will head down the road about 1/2 mile to Kirby Stephen which has a vast selection (2) fish and chip takeaways on the high street! Living the dream!

Contact bentley01 or Paul-DBSV12V to find the meeting point for the west contingent, you are very welcome to join us for the run-out but please be aware that we are full and have no spare places for lunch at the FL.

No worries thanks for letting me know, we will head down to Nateby then and check out the Black Bill, will be nice to meet some owners and see what sounds like an awesome group of Astons

I live a few miles from Fat Lamb, For anyone looking for lunch there is also the king's head and black swan in Ravenstonedale village. About 2 miles from Fat Lamb.

Additionally chip shop in Kirkby Stephen is good. Also recommend the George Hotel at Orton.

Some great pics there. Apologies I didn't manage to park straight at Bowes rolleyes !

Thanks to Paul for organising, as well as to Andy for sorting Fat Lamb and James for getting the NE contingent in order. It was good to put faces to some of the names.

Oscar and I had a great day. He's already got his eye on the Vulcan in classifieds https://www.pistonheads.com/buy/listing/10208379?c...eek

Thor now tucked up, having a well earned rest. Just need to get round to debugging the front end. One thing I did notice today after several hours behind the wheel, is how good those lightweight seats are. Didn't once think about my back which is something I can't say when I spent a few hours driving with sports seats in previous cars.

Safe and happy driving everyone driving

Had a great day, really enjoyed it. Lots of laughs.

James witton - Bowes Museum was fantastic. Thankyou for the suggestion, taking us there, and arranging for the lineup outside. Perfect end to an Aston day.

The drone shots are superb, great work.

The driving was fantastic, great to put your foot down.

Many thanks for organising - great trip out, Bowcliffe Hall was an excellent starting point with great bacon butties smile

I had thought my car was the only Scorpus red in the UK as I was only aware of one other and that went to the US. Imagine my surprise to find two other Scorpus Red owners at this event!

Red is the new Grey for Astons - common as muck smile

Just to echo other comments, it was a great day with wonderful company and cars. Absolutely no problem with the roads and the scene was, as ever, stunning.

Great to have a few words from Rob about Aston Martin too. The DBXs looked great but for me the Vantage Roadster was just stunning. Especially on such a nice day as yesterday. A few more pictures:

Yeah great run out, I was behind you in the DB9, you were flying round those corners and flooring it on the straights, it was fantastic!!!

The GT8 in front of you sounded awesome, were you in track mode???

Bit of a bugger that I had to cry off late on, although to be fair I wouldn’t have made the FL anyway.

Looks like a good time was had by all.

Let’s hope it provides some future leads for AM Newcastle as well .

Just looking more closly at the direct overhead shot at the Far Lamb, interesting the red new Vantage next to the V12. Much wider than I thought.
