I'm in the market for an SUV and i would really like something else than a full fat Range Rover (I am on my eight) but the DBX doesn't do it for me. The whole idea of a sporty SUV is lost on me. I buy an SUV because it is roomy, comfortable, 4 wheel drive and can pull the occasional dighy or trailer. Acceleration and road holding will always be better in a lower and lighter car so why try even compromise with the above. I think the nicest looking SUV out there is probably the Volvo 90 but it only comes with a potty 4 cylinder engine so that simply does not work. I still find the RR, which is now into its 8th MY quite attractive, its only the electronics that need updating. The design is proving quite timeless. I wished Aston had taken a bit more inspiration from up the road in Gaydon.
New RR out next year. I’m waiting to see it before deciding whether I get another or go for a Defender!Jon39 said:

..... so I bought this because it had a tow bar. I had never driven, or even sat in one before picking it up.
Looks very, Kevin. Racing green and it has 4 doors too.
I only recognise Aston Martins, so what is your car called ?
Keep up,Jon,everyone knows that,

An SUV is an oxymoron how can you have sport and utility, they are opposites.
That’s a common view but the S is actually meant to stand for sports in that the car is good at letting you do sports - eg. carrying bikes and surf boards, going skiiing, towing boats etc. You can have relatively sporty SUVs and wobbly SUVs but they’re all SUVs in this regard!avinalarf said:

Thank you Steven. How silly of me.
Of course I remember now, the car maker probably best known for their frog eyed Sprite model.

There is only one KERMIT! Please!
Very nice motor though Kevin, had a soft spot for the Pan GTS ST since it was launched, but we went with the AMR Rapide which I guess is similar in many ways actually now I think about it.

Beautiful is a number.
DB...X.....er who missed that memo?
DB...X.....er who missed that memo?
I presume we have no idea what the X is supposed to mean.
For those people who built long straight roads, it would be number 10, but their descendents would now be buying Italian SUVs, so that cannot be correct.
Perhaps X for cross as in crossover, no number there.
Or maybe a kiss for Charlotte from the dealer, after she places her order. She had to wait so long.
A very low number price might be beautiful.
Few sneaky video clips and a rather nice exhaust note in amongst the video...
