How very odd. Are you saying that people don't come up to you and tell you that the bonnet shut line is all wrong, or the headlights are too small, or that it looks like an MX5 ?
Seriously though, I have many positive comments when out and about from people with my DB11. The only negative I've had from someone was that they didn't like the stuck-on iPad on the dashboard. I agreed with him, but still - how very dare he !!

By popular demand...
The colour is difficult to capture. These pics or quite heavily edited and were taken (fairly) professionally. My personal favourite:
This is an iphone pic that better shows the colour in the sun. In reality it changes with the lighting, from a deep blue to more of a greeny turquoise colour. TBH it's honestly made me think twice about paying the balloon and keeping the car...I'm unlikely to be able to find a Timeless car in this colour/spec and it's my favourite thing about the car!

The Speedster smaller grille looks 100% better and would look infinitely better on the new Vantage...side shots better as well but needs to lose that awful black side duct.
The baby blue is a great colour but the front is ugly and the rear end too fussy with all the unnecessary little diffuser vanes etc

Very very nice, but then I would say that.
I think one of the big changes for this model is that the traditional colours don't work as well as bright ones.
Great pictures, made me realise I must get some proper ones of mine done. Does yours have a very slight metallic/pearl element in the paint, mine has so guess this is why it changes colour so much in bright sun and as you say, most pictures of mine make it look bright orange, though it is definitely red.
Love it.......

The ‘trout pout’ front can easily be mitigated by speccing the car from new yourself!
Choose the black gloss boarder ( and just like Lesley Ash with black lipstick on) it’s going to stand out with a silver mesh grill with a silver paint on the body.
Choose a bright bold colour like flugplatz / tang/ cosmos/ I emerald with black and black grill and bang!!!
Looks wonderful as per the pics above.
So if you don’t want a trout pout car , buy new or search for a one that has not been a tick box ( lemming) exerciser ( aka dealer demo or what will the neighbours think spec)
Again... all IMHO

...... would you not have found a way to lose that shut line across the nose? Maybe I just need to get out more.
I might have an explanation for you Bob.
The designers did feel a certain amount of guilt, when they realised that they had destroyed two very long-standing historic features of Aston Martin heritage.
The well known and distinctive front grille and also the side strakes. Both I think have been registered designs for decades.
To make up for their indiscretions, they decided they could revive a past Aston Martin feature, the bonnet shut line. -

With the Vantage it cuts off the nose and the undulations in the metal mean that the gap is wide and never sits flush or aligns properly.
I've never liked the nose of the original Vanquish for the same reasons and Aston does have form with this design language but it still looks better on this car as the lights are bigger and the shut lines are both horizontal and vertical framing the bonnet area and wings. A few modern Mercedes are also afflicted by the same design flaw IMHO of course
