I don’t love the front view of mine but do the back and side.
Many cars this view extends to though.
However when driving it I can’t see the front and I bought it because of how it drives.
Would I buy another - yes.
Sorry Shrimp , photo not as good as yours.

And as for back views being perhaps preferable sometimes.
But as ever subjective and purely my opinion.

Nice bum !!

What colour is that ?

I know the wing was part of the package - but if it was mine I would be tempted to take that off....before i knocked it off when parking it in the garage !!

Lol - might slightly ruin the aero though !
Colour is actually Porsche Peridot - the first and only Aston ever painted in the colour - maybe for a reason - J.
Took interesting ( price ) negotiation with Q but worth it I think.
Also got Andy Palmer to sign renderings - now I’ve really gone and asked for trouble mentioning that plus GT8 plus love for new Vantage on here !

A few (!) - I’ll sort a couple for you later.
Just off to silverstone to do noise test for possible Aston track day inclusion.
Doubt it will pass.

I feel bad now for knocking new Vantage, it looks brilliant (snout aside) in all those photos.

Well done to those who bought one and supported British manufacturing and you deserve all the admiration these cars draw in the street!

Oilit ,
I like these ones.
Failed the db test completely - 116 at 5k revs / loud mode , 109 at same revs no loud mode.
Limit 102 or 111 if additional costs paid to host.
Failure feels great !

I think they look great from the rear but always remind me of Ford Mondeo from the front.

As usual that's just epic. Of course, there is no chance you would get that on any noise regulated track, no way.

Cayman B , absolutely right - the result was never in question but Works wanted to formally try.

I deliberately bought my V8V Roadster because I wanted one of the last naturally aspirated, manual V8 Aston Martin cars. When I went in to the dealership looking for it, the new ones didn't appeal. Then I did my factory tour. Now to be quite honest I'd quite happily add to my collection a V8 Vantage Coupe (7 speed Manual), a DB11 Volante, a DBS Coupe, a DBX (hybrid as soon as it's released please) and then to avoid the classics being left out a 1978 V8 Volante, a DB5/DB6 and a DB9 Bond Edition. I'm only a few million short... anyone spot me?

AMG have just introduced an enviable new flat plane V8 for their halo Black Series - I hope (but seriously doubt) that AM can introduce this engine. It's character (sound and power delivery) would be quite appealing.

Interesting point. Clearly the incoming CEO knows all about the AMG engines. But will he want to buy further into AMG engines, especially when AMG are downsizing. The TM-O1 hot-v V6 is scheduled for Valhalla, Vanquish and the rest of the range.

Will AML end up with V6 and V12 only, dropping entirely V8 drivetrain?

I'd like to know a little more about the new AM V6. But personally, and this is my opinion only, I'd rather much have a V8 than a V6. Unless of course the new V6 sounds incredible with a high RPM limit.

If I want a 6 cyl in a sports car - I'd go Porsche. I've owned N54 TT flat 6 BMWs (both manual and DCT) and whilst lovely, there is no comparison to a V8's character.

The new flat plane V8 would add an amount of exclusivity - it would certainly distance the new Vantage from the C63 perception. Its inclusion in say an AMR model would be excellent....they would sell like hotcakes!

The flat plane would be a benefit to Aston but also might be a benefit to AMG as well - gets their production volumes up without diluting it within their own range, and also the Black Series becomes seen as the one with the Aston engine.

However, they have bad form for this - remember they didn’t even let Aston use the better specified dry sumped version of the same engine from the AMG GT, and imposed a power cap; so as to avoid competing with their own product.

If Aston Martin are smart they would put a similar front-end on the new Vantage (especially the bonnet - imho looks excellent).

Nice at first look, but then a Supra-ish feeling started creeping in...
