Advised that the name of the first owner in the handbook is King Hussain of Jordan (off AMOC forum)
Google tells me he died in 1999(?), perhaps it was his son King Abdullah II of Jordan but even that seems very odd. Why would the keeper’s address be the “Royal Privy Purse” and not the Jordanian Embassy?

I’m collecting the car and it’s history file tomorrow so hopefully I’ll learn more when I look through it.
A bit late to the party on this one but King Hussain stored many of his cars in a underground facility at Buckhurst Park in Ascot, at times there could have been 50 or 60 there, all makes and models including one off special builds.
He was a great fan of all things Royal and wouldn't surprise me to have a Royal Privy there, one of his smaller jets was registered there and lived at Farnborough...

OP told us he was going to be collecting the car and history file on the 4th August.
Nothing further has been shared with us, although Mark suggested the car might already be for sale again.

A shame that we cannot learn more about the Royal connection.
