The cost of the subframe and antiroll bar painting and vapour blasting the suspension components were around £500 in 2020, so not sure now.

Plus add on any new parts you need, I just went all in and replaced anything that looked worn or corroded.

Step by step it's a good job, take your time.

Good luck.

thankyou.
I'm looking at buying a 2005 but the rear subframe is rather rusty .rear anti roll bar brackets and drop links ect all badly rusted. Was just trying to get a ballpark figure to justify my offer.
If you were to charge a labour cost and add new parts and paint ect you be around £££?

Difficult to say, all depends what parts you want to replace.

Call Mike at Bamford rose and he will quote you on a subframe refurb .

I done mine myself over the winter. As an estimate I think I spent about £2000 on the subframe related works. I had the sub frame primed and powder coated, coated internal voids with dynax s60, vapour blasted all suspension arms etc, replaced a number of nuts, bolts, handbrake cable, brake lines, DAE ASM hoses and had all the nuts and bolts cadmium plated, changed transaxle fluid and ASM Fluid, 4 wheel alignment etc etc. I’ve since ended up spending more on replacing the exhaust valves that were sized, brakes, service items. I was happy to carry out the works as the majority of cars I viewed needed the above works carried out.

Hope that helps
