That is nice, I could see a lot of TVR waitlisters heading in this direction - on another thread it sounded like deposits are flying in.
Of course hardcore fans won’t buy it because it’s got Aston door handles, Volvo infotainment and Mercedes engines ——-right?

Must admit I'm rather sorely tempted by that. Much more so than a mid engined Aston offering. I think 4cyl + manual for £60k would make a great track car, and it looks absolutely fantastic. Good to see Lotus still clinging on to making small, lightweight cars (as much as they can be under current regs).

Lotus seem to be in an identical 2003 Vantage situation.
Their Evira immediately looked attractive in photographs, specification and anticipated price appealing. It seems dealers have already received a considerable number of deposit placed orders.
That's how you do it. Good luck to them, they deserve it, after that ridiculous memory we have of launching numerous models which were never built.
