Glad that you had a good day Kevin.
It is always enjoyable talking to other enthusiasts and owners.

We had some fun here discussing the judging.

So you lost 10 marks for the interior. nono ... banghead
Did the judge(s) tell you why?

Perhaps they knew what to look for, simply by reading your other post.
'Scratched the dashboard waterfall, how I just cannot fathom. .... the door seals are a little worn, the sill plaques are scratched ... '

Was the winning car in your class, looking better than new?

I had hoped to have my Vantage out of winter hibernation this month, but circumstance caused a delay. Now looking forward to June. driving

Our neighbours came from over Birmingham way, had Volcano Red Vanquish S which was spectacular and they were very nice and friendly.
They have the next number plate after mine. They use their car a lot.

Glad you enjoyed your first AMOC concours, the c$ub does organise so good events at great locations. I might even have another go at that elusive 1st place plaque when my car returns from its time at the metal shop.

The judging points lost were mostly on the wheels which I knew needed some attention!

And my engine bay does need some attention which was pointed out in a very positive manner, so it’s just a case of getting on top of that but overall I was pleasantly surprised, the car is not immaculate but it’s all good learning

But they did comment that the interior was lovely

But the other cars in my class were wonderful and you can see where improvements can be made and I want to keep it as good as I can but still use it

But it’s a great day out
