I think it looks brilliant. Much better than Valkyrie. When I first saw it some time ago it didn't really resonate. Seeing the Mock up it looks amazing. Really aggressive but retains an element of class and beauty.

Best get saving.

I do like the look of that ! It has a touch of XJ220 about it - which to my eyes is no bad thing.

For £370k that is very interesting price wise - depending on the interior and is definitely better looking than valk, but they are different propositions.

Looks great straight away.
I like the exterior design changes from the original Valhalla concept car. It has evolved into a more beautiful overall shape.

Originally announced as a limited edition, but now appears be part of the core model range. That will have saved the hit and miss guesswork involved, regarding demand for limited editions.

A much more powerful version of the MB V8, presumably reflects the extended partnership.
That 9 mile electric range, adds 5 years to the UK model life. smile

No chances being taken this time with the front grille.
Wonder if that is the result of so many endless comments, by the 'old duffers' on PH, who purchased so many Aston Martins. wink

Grille, lights, and it just looks less sculpted in a positive way the front looks 1000% better than the concept - I was left cold by the concept reveals of the mid engined cars, but this has given me hope.

Err I think thats the price of the SF90 rather than the Valhalla. Valhalla is going to be knocking on for double that I believe....

Wow, ya that is stunning.

If the vanquish is a more "classic" take on that it will be winner.

Also love all the new greens that AM is showing off models in.

so much better than the weird sky blues, yellows etc.

If only it had the DBS's v12.... or came as a spider.

You mean as a Volante. Or a Roadster

Yes... wrong term.

But if they did a version of the as a volante with the V12, I bet it would sell out pretty darn quick.

Dimensions and Weight:
My thoughts about this are that the AML V12 is a large engine, both in size and weight.
The advantage is smoothness and high power. That plus would not overcome the minuses, particularly when there is often not excess space for the power unit in a mid-engine car.

Out of Fashion;
Albeit the V12 is a wonderful engine, it is not the latest piece of engineering. Was it 1999 when it was introduced. Small capacity (and size) engines have become the template now and they can produce huge power.
The Koenigsegg 3 cylinder, 2 litre produces 600 BHP with two turbochargers. When coupled with electric power (same as the Valhalla) in their Gemera 4 seat model, that tiny engine, which does not have camshafts or mechanical valve gear, helps provide a total of 1,7000 BHP. 0 to 62 mph = 1.9 secs and top speed 249 mph.

I suppose we might see the V12 in the Vantage as a last hurrah, because it has been mentioned that it does fit, but never in any new models.

This looks fantastic. Also makes you realise how good the new Vantage could look with bigger lights, no bonnet panel gap across the nose and a more subtle grill.

Sorry, but it does nothing for me, which is probably irrelevant as I'm definitely not the target market.

Not as "pretty" as a DB9, DB11 etc, but for a mid engine car, it definitely carries the AM "look" a lot more than I think most of us thought the new mid engine cars would.

Hopefully the mid engine cars will bring a new customer and level of performance to AM

I'm guessing that this uses a modified version of the AMG V8 from the Black Series AMG GT?

It looks terrific!

At £600k it's the same prices as a McLaren Senna. I know that's a few years old now but amazing to see that you can achieve performance and beauty like that. The Senna has always looked very much function over form to me with its massive wing and angular lines.

Yes and this begs the question - if it's not important you have a limited edition car (is the Valhalla classed as a hypercar or a supercar), why not save £300k and get an SF90, which has similar performance !?

By the way, I do however think the Valhalla looks sensational / better than an SF90 - maybe I just answered my own question :-)

I thought the same in the photos but have since watched carfection's piece and it does look good. I'd still take the new Lotus over it though.

Any thoughts on this.

The DB11 had the curlicue, supposedly to improve the grip in corners (at the Nordschleife perhaps), but owners reported mud being slung along the sides of their cars.

It looks as though it might now be on the windscreen and side windows.
