I like the wheels (are they unpainted OHMSS DBS rims?), although I wouldn't want to be the one who has to clean them. But I'm not sure if its spec is for everyone.

Indeed, the rest is almost tollerable. In fact I do quite like the colour itself the more i see it, but the combo!

You can imagine the conversation during the spec..

So Sir, and which finish would you like on the centre waterfall. The satin CF may look good, or maybe even the Q special chopped carbon or a yellow tinted CF finish perhaps? Or would Sir simply like to take the standard Gloss Black, which always looks good...

Hmm, I dunno, what about that Mahogany sample you have over there... That would look totes amaze wouldn't it!

I’ll say what I said when it was posted on FB a few days ago. I quite like the colour. I don’t like the wheels or the red brake calipers and I think the louvres would look much better in CF against the paintwork. I didn’t see the interior until Adam posted the Twitter video…….well it’s different I guess! And the price seems to have risen by £5k too!!

As you say you no longer have this car GTRene, perhaps you won't mind me saying this.

They are not keen on the golden proportion rule in Munich then.
Seem to have used the rule of halves, instead of thirds.
Base of windscreen, about halfway from front to back.
Door metal to glass join, about half vertical.

OMG!!!! The interior is Dark Knight!!! I thought it was black... Dark Knight is a deep purply black, which is nice with the right exterior colour, but not with a Yellow, Red, Cream and Mahogany setup. WOW....

Out of interest does anyone know how much the body coloured louvres would have cost? In the description it says “Hood Louvre - Q”
I take that as meaning it was a rather pricey Q option when it was specced. I’ve never liked the body coloured louvres. CF would look so much better, particularly against such a striking colour, and it’s a V12V tradition too (I’m not really a fan of the mesh ones either!)

Oh, that's not nice (other opinions may be available). It's not just the outside colour, which looks better (but still not good; perhaps it's better in the metal?) in the official photos but the other small, questionable choices (along with the large, questionable choices).

One question for the V12V owners that are probably feeling slightly queasy in this thread. In the view into the boot area through the open tailgate, what's under the carpet-covered bulge or block at the RH side on the slope? I assume it's unique to the V12 as my V8V is a single lower surface across the whole luggage area

I think it’s the B&O sub. Mine has premium audio and doesn’t have the bulge.

Dark purple? sounds lovely, its getting better , i want it. Not the Mahogany though.

Correct - that's the B&O Amp location. Same on any Vantage with B&O, V8 or V12, S or normal....

Thanks guys - makes perfect sense. I'd never seen inside a Vantage with B&O before and initially wondered if it was something to do with the adjustable suspension I believe the V12V has.

Only the V12VS has the 3 way adjustable suspension, not the V12V.
