With apologies to anyone here who owns one, the front looks like a catfish.although it looks a bit big... do I look fat dear?
But indeed, its big, it wants to eat other cars I guess.

Blimey - that is hideous. Nothing left of the understated elegance of the previous V12V. This is just vulgar. More pics and video on:

Twin-supercharging the engine, in addition to the very favorable side effect of being awesome, gives the car "rapid power," as Kelly put it, and said it even has low-down throttle response because they could tune the boost down from 2,000 rpm. Right now, the engine is making under 700 hp, which, in Kelly's eyes, is "on the low side."
But the team has a plan. By the next round—which will be Formula Drift Atlanta on May 6 and 7—it hopes to have a new engine ready to go. That unit will be a 6.8-liter, twin-supercharged V12 that'll put out between 1,000 and 1,100 hp. "We made a custom crank for the bottom, which strokes the motor to 6.8 liters,"

I'm not a fan of the Vantage grill, neither of them, that said this effort probably makes the best of it. Looking at some of the efforts posted using the configurator I don't think this dull silver colour does the car any favours at all, it looks far better in the dark colours.
The team in charge choosing this spec should be fired. It seems they've choosen the worst colour and colour combination for the in- and exterior. This spec looks dull and uninspired. Couldn't think of a worse spec for such a halo car.
Not a great effort of the AM design team :-(

Wow, so much better than the silver car! I think its clear the new V12V is going to suit lairy colours much better. Anyone playing it safe with a traditional AM favourite may in fact be taking a big risk. [url]

I thought Aston Martin said they were all sold.
Why are they parading a car in London, that no one can buy?
Marked parking bays in combination with double yellow lines. That is a new one to me.
Wonder if the Mayor of London knows what that means ?

That's the press car, will be reviewed soon. It's a brand exercise to create desire for more affordable models. RichB said:
he black bonnet lids that Aston's PR dept. are specifying are, in my opinion, dreadful.
It is exposed carbon fibre, not black paint It is stunning and one of the essential spec items along with exposed carbon fibre roof and rear wing IMHO that define the V12V apart from its lesser and half the cost sibling.

They go from a vast, featureless bonnet with a couple of small vents appearing as an afterthought, to this. Might work with a black car maybe, I dunno, haven`t seen it in real life but it doesn`t inspire me in images.Gassing Station | Aston Martin | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
