They go from a vast, featureless bonnet with a couple of small vents appearing as an afterthought, to this. Might work with a black car maybe, I dunno, haven`t seen it in real life but it doesn`t inspire me in images.
Same here, even if in real life it might be cool, since it's CF and overall it bothers me less than the infamous wing. I also find the grille not fitting very well in silver, I would go for a dark one personally.I agree this is a car for bold colours though.
Saw this in another forum earlier today. Nothing official, but as we have said on here, not entirely surprising if it turns out to be true.

Well that didn’t take long did it! Some serious public hat eating is called for by the “believers” on here me thinks.

If this turns out to be true, I think I’d be pretty fed up if I’d taken the bait and ordered a coupé, bearing in mind that part of the justification of the price was the “exclusivity” factor. But as we have all said before, history often repeats itself. I’m a bit surprised that we’re reading about it so soon after the official reveal of the coupé though.
Oh well, time will tell I guess.

Oops.
AML employee verbal confirmation - "No Roadster".
Dealer letter ...................................... - 'No Roadster'.
I have not studied the details, but I think historically most Aston Martin models have been available as Coupes and also Volantes/Roadsters, even on rare occasions as Speedsters too (DB AR1; CC100; Zagato Speedster; V12 Vantage Speedster).

I’d expect that any coupe buyer who asked for a no-roadster assurance and was given one will be given attractive terms to either off load their coupe back to their supplying dealer, or “upgrade” to a roadster.
Being a customer for a £300k purchase is likely to bring some benefits.
That’s highly likely to depend on the precise wording and the level of demand for the coupe. Being a customer for a £300k purchase is likely to bring some benefits.
Quite a difference if the letter says “we have no reason to believe a roadster will be produced” vs “we guarantee that no roadster will be produced”. And in any event they’ll take it back if they can resell at profit/no loss but will perhaps be much less keen if the market price is lower.
