Grantley Hall - Sunday Sept 11th 2022 - Aston Drivers Day

Hi Folks,
I have booked the above date for an Aston day at Grantley Hall. I know it’s a long way off but availability is a big issue due to catchup from lockdown/restrictions and there isnt much left for weekends next year.
It’s approx £50 per person (not confirmed yet) for the venue which includes exclusive parking out front, served 3 course lunch in our own hospitality area with private bar. I will need payment by the end of December for anyone wanting to book a place. There are approximately 40 places available, maybe more if needs must.
Would be a great opportunity to arrange a weekend in Yorkshire and join us if you are further afield.
The event this year was a huge success and I think it’s fair to say everyone had a great day out. We had iirc 20+ cars plus a couple of specials from the supporting dealership JCT, as well as a guest DB5. As its early doors I’d like to make it bigger and better again.
This year I organised a meet for breakfast and a drive through the dales in the morning. The afternoon is a free for all depending on plans. I will do the same again for 2022.
Any interest please let me know asap and I will put you on the list, as I will need to pay the deposit in a couple of weeks.
I make zero out of this, I do it for fun (apparently it’s not stressful at all lol).

Where will you be meeting up for the runout? I guess from your post your thinking of driving round the Yorkshire dales before lunch?
My wife and I have already got plans on that day but if things change then we will come.
I hope your day will be very enjoyable and the food I know will be excellent.

Just bumping this thread because I have had a figure of £62 per person for the 2 course lunch. It's more than last year (iirc £45pp).
We already have a number of cars/owners who have said they would like to attend but as this is a significant % increase on last year I can understand if it changes things.
If this is a bit steep for people I will not sign the contract for that date and not bother with the event.
I'll leave this here for a few days and make a decision by the end of the week based on feedback.
If you have already been in contact with me via email (or not) feel free to drop me a message about the price change if it is an issue.

Bump for this event.
I have already paid the non-refundable deposit and have started a whatsapp group for the event and comms.
Already had 2 dropouts so we currently have between 7 and 9 spaces for lunch available for this.
Please let me know via PM if you would like to come along, if I cant fill the spaces I my need to cancel this and lose the money as the pricing is for 30 people and we are currently nearly a third short.
I will be requiring money from those wishing to attend by the end of this month. (Sorted over the whatapp group).
If you have said you want to attend and have not already been added to the whatsapp group you are either not on whatsapp (and need to be) or have been sent an invite to join the group because of your settings, or I've completely missed you!
