So funny watching a few people on here so powerfully denying there would be a roadster.... like of course if this cash strapped company can make a variant and sell a high margin product with low R&D they will likely do it.... and props to them! Hope to see them make a bunch variants! It's awesome they are still making a v12

More Aston Martin helicopters announced as well.
No V12 option though.

.................

Airbus Corporate Helicopters (ACH) has said it will continue producing the Aston Martin Edition ACH130 after the initial run sold-out faster than expected.

The initial run of 15 helicopters sold out almost completely within two years, with just 1 left available.
As a result, Airbus has committed to producing another 15.

After Aston (factory) confirmed to me that there would be no roadster built, they have now offered to refund my V12 coupe deposit and still build my car. I can then decide wether I take it or not when it arrives at the dealers next month.

Back in 2020 I also purchased the very first ACH130 Aston Martin helicopter, here in my garden!

Nice helicopter! Do you still have it? Care to give us a review...?

Well that's decent of them I suppose. So are you taking the coupe, switching to a Roadster or giving them the finger?

This isn't a car purchased for the interior, it's the outgoing Vantage with a V12 twin turbo engine. It's about to be replaced with a refreshed model next year with a more wizzy interior and boring engine(s). You pays your money etc...

‘It’s not the best at anything’

I quite liked his read on it though.

Re ‘still build my car ‘ - suggests no waiting list ….or queue of buyers who missed the initial order - otherwise surely they would let a new buyer spec it their way?

I certainly wouldnt spend my hard earned on a car with a stty interor, whatever it was, at a cost like that it all has to press all of the buttons, interior and exterior.

They're all sold including all the Roadsters which aren't officially announced yet. The interior is a lovely place to be with high quality aniline leather and lots of carbon albeit with 2019 buttons and infotainment. Thats perfect for me.

I may have missed something but from what I’ve read and watched, the interior looks the same as standard Vantage, apart from a silver V12 badge, and the fancy seats from V12 Speedster. That was one of the first things Harry mentioned in his review. But as you say, each to their own. Have you locked in your spec and got a delivery date? It will interesting to see pictures of the actual finished cars and hear feedback from owners once deliveries commence.

From what I understand, the lightweight "fancy" seats can now be specified on the V8 Vantage / F1 edt, so this is not actually a differentiator.

Wow, I didn’t know that Adam.

Imho that is pretty poor from AM as it just dilutes the “exclusivity” even more. Not entirely surprising of course though.

Oh well. Good luck to all those who have taken the plunge.

That does look good !

This or that nice 812 that's featured on PHs spotted, hmm.

Carbon Fibre vents on the old model looked naff, how dare you Harry!

Appreciate the informative video from Harry.

AM are absolutely mad not to make a V12 Vantage a part of the standard range. For a price difference similar to the DB11 V8/V12, I would be sincerely surprised if they would be able to keep up with demand. That engine is something special. Really sounds terrific.
