I agree it is a pretty useless car, but I see it as an exercice de style. Just like in fashion shows, you see those crazy outfits that will never get to the actual shops, but they give out a vibe, an art direction for the collection, a feeling. Same here. It might be a glimpse of what's next in the "normal" model range.

Seems completely obvious to me.

The v12 Speedster based off Vantage. The DBR22 based off DBS.

Not completely obvious to those of us who have only seen photographs.
Anyway, thank you for explaining.

Now we know, that the DBR22 is a much bigger car, than the V12 Speedster.
