If my memory serves me well, in previous years a group of us met at Fleet and left at about 08:30 am to give those folks travelling a distance to join the "convoy".
Leaving at 8:30 works for me ... pretty flexible on time.

Will you be joining me?
Yep, I will be aiming to arrive circa 8 am for a coffee, hopefully there will be lot of other Astons present.

Drove down yesterday. Torrential rain all the way from Merseyside. It now looks more like a tractor. Tomorrow looks ok weather wise.

Some photographs from Simply Aston Martin.

Very well attended, around 500 cars, a lot more going on this time with snack sellers and Aston related tents than previous years I've been.

Drove in behind the One77, stunning car, sounded gorgeous too.

Anyone interested can view the days happenings on YouTube, search for the channel 'Our Tim, simply Aston Martin 2023' .... Should be live around 8pm. Also Beaulieu have their channel and will show similar.

Anyone know the owner? or have a red Vantage S with cream truffle interior at Simply Aston yesterday.
I use to own the car and would have been good to have a chat with the new owner. The car was parked up near the entrance of the Beaulieu.
Looks like it’s still been kept nice reg is - CN14

I thought the One-77 was magnificent. Best car of the day for me, but didn't hear the results so I hope it did well.

Will check the links later, great event and always nice to catch up with a few good people (James/Lenny from Aston Installations and Bruce Birmingham who was definitely getting my attention with future engine plans)

The DB1 won it.

I thought this years event was very good, 500 cars in attendance and what seemed to be more trade sellers.

Question, whats the significance with many cars being parked with teddy bears on their steering wheels?

I wasn't there, but it could have been related to this charity.

Finally finished editing all the photos I took at Simply Aston this year along with my young son. I can't help but return to images of this new V12 Vantage when it drove off at the very end of the day. The best spec'd one out there? I think so. And I'm not normally a fan of rear wings either. Stunning and a real crowd pleaser.

I have to agree Nick, this car along with the One-77 was drawing a lot of attention. The colours worked very well as did the rear spoiler and like you I'm not a huge fan of big wings on cars but this really looked the part. The other car that was worthy of a mention was the gulf coloured Vantage, we met the guy at Fleet services and again the colours seemed to work.

Very much! That current shape Gulf Vantage was a real stunner.

Bizarrely, I’m always left unemotional regarding a One-77. Love the engineering, interior and many other bits. And yet…

The other one I loved there was the Flame Orange 2012 DBS parked next to us. Gooooooorgeous!

The guy that owned it was telling me he imported it from Hong Kong, he was the first owner!
