The V8 Calendar - when's your's due ?

The Aston Martin configurator is now on-line at:
www.astonmartin.com/configurator/selectcar.html
It works pretty well although the colors are somewhat off. I'm still not up on posting pics to the web but maybe some of you might want to post renderings of your spec. I'm still floundering as far as my choices and I am running out of time...

Just wait til you get up to the factory. Much easier to make decisions when you've seen what some of the colours really look like 'in the flesh' on the samples and on the cars. Although you can have fun with the configurator, the colours are miles off. Toro red, the colour I've gone for, is nothing like the bright red that the configurator suggests.

Just had call from dealer - he told me to expect delivery of my car in next couple of weeks (was number 6, now apparently number 4).
Exciting stuff - just need to shift my 997 to fund it.
COOOL or what!!!
Who is your dealer?
Did they say why the ones in front had dropped out?
I was at the Harwoods launch last night at Amberley castle (cool lasers BTW) and was told that, despite all the rumours nobody is getting a car this side of November and that dealers have been instructed not to release any customer cars until all the demonstrators have been delivered with the first batch of customer cars.
I'm no 17 on my dealer's list so I figure December delivery.
Much more interesting however is that Les (thats him in the video at the 'ring) was noise testing at goodwood yesterday. They managed 98dB static by creeping the revs up so the butterflies didn't open. However, on blipping the throttle, the meter hit 120dB.
Oh yes.
So Goodwood is off the cards (way too noisy) and the factory are now considering other locations. These are top secret of course - but here are some clues, its very long, very scary and features in a certain video of the AMV8.
Oh yes Oh yes.
