remind me never to buy a used car from you then !!...the paint will be swirled up and the finish gone already....I wont even let the dealer wash mine, after Ive seen their technique Best to clean it properly yourself - at least it will be cheaper than getting a professional to machine polish it when it starts to look "tired"
Soul Reaver, would you mind posting a close up pic of your car, with the sun glinting of it would you? Just for my own interest....
Mark.
Easy to do (if you have a Torx driver) - took about 15 min and refitted the plate to the existing plinth mounting holes. Did within first hour of ownership!
As long as you don't alter the digit spacing, the white bits around the edge need only be 11mm wide.

Thinking of swapping my Tamora for a Vantage, but I can't decide on the best colour to go for. I prefer darker shades as I think it enhances the lines better.
At the moment, my favourite is black, but I've never had a black car and I wonder if they are a pig to keep clean and if they show up scratches v easily.
Any thoughts, suggestions?
Tony.

I took a great deal of time to choose the colour of my Roadster and finally picked Tungsten before black as I have already got two other black cars and they are beautiful when clean but need to be kept clean to get best out of the colour. If you are using it as a daily run-around then you will end up spending almost as much time keeping it clean as you do driving it. If you take a close look at the attached photo you will notice it isn't spotless however it still looks good I'm sure you will agree.

congrats ! ...if you live near London, give the guys at Gtechniq a call, as I doubt the way the car is presented will do the black justice....mine was year old and covered in swirl marks I put a deposit on a 56 plate Onyx black Vantage today.

Just bought and collected a new N400 Roadster in 'Berwerk Black'. I think that it looks fantastic (but then I bought it so I should). Apparently Aston are experimenting with the use of Xymol before delivery and mine is one of thirty that has been chosen. I completed my first real journey yesterday ( a round trip of 180 miles) and much grime collected on the way. I will clean it at the weekend and see how simple the process is but I am expecting an easy ride given the xymol treatment. What is the recommended way to clean a car to avoid potential damage. The dealer recommended an initial application of something from or called Jeep to loosen any dirt/flies etc followed by a cold water treatment with a light cleaner. Your suggestions welcome.

My dealer told me that a Brillo pad dipped in Vim should do the trick Tonto said:
