Just picked my car up from JCT600. Power upgrade engaged!
I can confirm that is noticeably quicker, mainly midrange rather than top end.
I'm not talking 'slam back in the seat, re-arranging internal organs' quicker, but its noticeable.
any more updates now you have been driving it for a while really thinking about this upgrade....I can confirm that is noticeably quicker, mainly midrange rather than top end.

Oh actually, there is one thing to report. I filled it up with V Power last week. It felt very slightly quicker and I managed to get a few pops and bangs on overrun!

After much consideration, and recommendation from a fellow 'upgraded V8 Owner' I've bitten the bullet, ordered a QuickSilver SuperSport exhaust and booked the car in next week for the AM Power Enhancement package.
All the 'guff' claims 20 hp extra for each bit, so should by noticeable? Plus improved torque & mid-range reponse.
The sound levels quoted by QuickSilver shouldn't make it too 'droney'- @ 4000 rpm only a dBa up; at idle though it's up by 3dBa which in real terms = twice as loud!
I'll keep ya posted! (Plus possible sound file!)

looks like a fair price, and a damn site better way of making 20bhp than a dody remap onto 98ROn only or "claims" from a free-flow exhaust
I've done 3500 miles in a 4.3 with an aftermarket exhaust, 200 cell cats and an ECU program. I have also driven the 4.3 in standard form, as well as the 4.7 in standard form. A proper package of the above will yield very noticeable gains - we're talking the kind that make people who know these cars inside and out make very complimentary noises. On the other hand, I have heard a number of dealers and one senior person from Aston tell me that they can't really notice that much difference with Aston's own powerpack. Back to back, the two don't even compare. The car I was fortunate enough to drive from San Diego to Vancouver has more outright punch(although less midrange) than an '09.
Got my car back on Friday after having the Aston Performance Upgrade and QuickSilver Supersport exhaust fitted and the difference is fantastic. The mid range poke is so much better - the car is noticably quicker. Anyone contemplating this, I can confirm this is money well spent.
The exhaust now has deeper growl, with the occasional pop on the over-run and downshift! Not too intrusive in the cabin, but definately more noticeable.

Just ordered the AM Power Upgrade with Larini sports cats for my 4.3 through HWM. Basically this is the same configuration that they used on their own end of line 4.3 V400. Output should jump by around 40bhp with between 30-50 lb-ft of extra torque - all useful stuff hopefully. This should all mean a significant increase in performance as the sport cats really aid the new engine mods to breath. The car is booked in for the end of the month, so I'll report back with my findings. One quietly excited V8 owner!

Something i wouldnt mind doing. Can i aks what kind of price you are looking at to have this completed???
Yes I am going to try and get it on the dyno before and after if I can get the time. Every engine is different as we know with a large differences being recorded on just a basic unfettled 4.3. The proof is in the driving as GPM3D says and it looks like in your case it was money well worth spent. After all the the 4.3 does need a leg up in the mid range as for me it was the only disappointment in the real world on open roads.
Ok, so mine has just been in for the AM power upgrade, and I also did the before and after test (thanks Charlie at SRR!)
The improvements were pretty good - power before was 376bhp and after 404bhp (+28, which was a touch more than 'advertised'). Torque was up from 302 before to 315. In terms of driving the car you can certainly notice a difference in the mid range (from about 4k rpm) and particularly at the top end. It's still not boot in the back quick, but it certainly feels much better than before and there is decent pace at the top end of the rev range. The throttle is also more responsive than previously, which was one of the things I liked least about the car before.
So overall I'm pleased I had the work done, it has certainly made the car quicker and more involving to drive
