Ok, so back from the Top Gear track after an hour in the track-ready Lotus Elise with slicks... What a car! Managed a 1.33 after six practice and three timed laps... Not too shabby. After feeling the way it cornered and how I managed to spin it quite badly on the follow through, as well as off track at Gambon twice, I hesitated about taking out the DBS.. Was scared how it would cope with an off track moment... Regretted that on the way home, but prob best decision

There we go... Awesome experience - and if you rock up in a DBS - take it out too

Didn't stig do a 1.24 inthe DBS? I bet you have a greater appreciation of his ability now. Sounds great fun I'd like to do it myself one day. I ought to be able to set a killer time in my 7, well the car could anyway. Who organized the day for you?

Guys - is the DBS any lower than the DB9 when it comes to sleeping policemen or steep gradients ?
