Truly, totally and absolutely GHASTLY!!!!.....I know Aston is part owned by a Middle East consortium but even this monstrosity will look out of place in Dubai, Qatar or Abu Dhabi.....just put it down for its own sake!!

This is a perfectly good example of why "corporate DNA" can be a complete failure. Aston is known for sports cars with a recognizable trademark grill and other styling Que's. By nature, they do not belong in an "SUV" because they were born from a sports car. Car makers use to know better than to try and mix these styles. Now the design firms push "Corporate DNA" to all the executives resulting in the rape of the DB7. It now has two ugly step sisters, the one-77 and this, the fat one. Everytime I see the DBS im going to shutter and think of this. It's ruinned my life.

hideous looking thing, looking at the "designers" previous work it's interesting to see all the bits that he's obviously used on this and his outside influences, Phantom rear roof line, Lancia Stratos glass (or skoda roomster depending on point of view or age)Vintage Ferrari style egg crate grill etc etc etc...........I hope that it's a massive success in China/Russia/Middle east, if only so we dont have many of them on the roads here smile

never, even on an X6 thread, have I seen such a negative reaction. Given there is no underlying negative prejudice as there is with BMW, I think this is proof that this design is utter st.

Lets hope they rust, and rust away quickly. all the passion I had for Aston Martin, has now been tarnished.

There are people who will buy them for sure. Just because they can, nothing more needs to be added, appart from....

A mixed reaction to this car so far, some hate it, where's others find it revolting.

They said that about the Cayenne and the X6, yet they are everywhere.

Well not yet because it is a concept and not been produced, probably never will be.

I suspect it will be very popular among U.S. dealers. Especially in black with 'security' glass.

What?

Oh, you meant car dealers?

Well, if you don't want your Lambo then I'll take it. Probably one of the most ridiculous car ideas never to have seen the inside of Franco Sbarro's Swiss lair smile
